In my shipment the poles were almost exactly the same size in diameter. They are meant for indoor use, and I can see how the tissue papery bark could be ruined if you were to put it outside. I saw a lot of questions about outdoor use so I wanted to be clear in my review why you shouldn’t use these outside for prolonged weather exposure. It’s a real branch, just delicate after the kiln drying. I would recommend these for sure

Great quality, birch poles were surprisingly more beautiful than I expected. Using them in tall vases for a dramatic outdoors affect in my bedroom.

These are so pretty. Using them in a giant piece of pottery. Good job on getting a vanity of color and thickness. Looks wonderful! Worth the money.

We used these birch poles to make an arch for our wedding ceremony. The quality of the logs were excellent! The diameter of all the logs were close to one another and had smooth ends. Worked great for an arch!

Perfect - quick delivery , the poles were exactly as described.. We were making a huppa for my boyfriends daughters wedding and we had got most of the birch from someone that had removed a tree - the issue we had were most of the branches we were using around the top were bent or too heavy - - we ordered 4 from Wilson Evergreens for around the top adn it came out perfect...
