I've used this black Wilton brand fondant for years now. I feel that it is well pigmented and easy to work with and is consistently good. I have never had an issue with the black color fading after the fondant sits on the cake for 24 hours+ either, like some others that I have worked with in the past. Highly recommend.

I'm an amateur baker and really don't know what I'm doing, but my kids always request specific cakes for their birthdays. My daughter requested a zebra cake this year. I've never used fondant before, but this was so easy to use and I love how her cake turned out! This definitely made the cake!!

Loved this for a cake I made (it was my first time working with fondant). It tasted great! My kids kept sneaking little pieces 🤣 the consistency, texture, and color are better than anything I could’ve made at home. It is very durable and performed better than I expected! I will always purchase my fondant vs. making my own- great buy!

This fondant is great if you don't want to make it from scratch. Its stretch factor is pretty good and it has a good structure. The color is great and it doesn't taste bad either. Much easier when you have dark colors you need, but don't want to dye it on your own.

I absolutely love Wilton products but I rarely work with fondant. I decided to make myself a Harry Potter themed cake for my birthday and did the sorting hat and the Golden Snitch out of cake and fondant. The fondant was pliable after some kneading. It adhered easily to my buttercream and gave me the ability to distress it as needed and keep it smooth when needed. It’s very versatile and was able to withstand me hand painting it to get dimensions into the cake. Perfect for cake decorators professional and home bakers alike.

It is a very good value for your money.. It will dry out fairly quickly compared to some of the other brands I've used, which is a benefit only if you're sculpting with it and need figures or flowers to "set up" faster, especially if you add Tylose powder, it's actually an inexpensive alternative to purchasing separate gumpaste. Flavor is just okay for me; colors are very pigmented and vibrant. Takes airbrush really well without a lot a beading. Good elasticity but not great for holding really intricate details , ( sculpted or embossed ) , or blending seams like with modeling chocolate, or brands like Fondarific .

It was so easy to work this fondant. And it smells great and taste of chocolate. I am very happy with this product. My first time using fondant and I was quite nervouse but after using this product I would use fondant again.
