This product is very breakable it took about 5 years, probably using it one to 2 times per week. But the pins come out the top and the handle starts to lose its firmness and will turn on you, making a dead hit difficult. A very good design and nice with being low vibration comparable to MAC’s anti vibe performance. Very iffy on purchasing another due to the low 2year warranty 1000bash guarantee. And knowing one has failed on me for 200 price tag this seems to be a bad deal. Here’s to the time we spent together thank you. Randy/truck mechanic

This sledge is the perfect size and weight for any heavy duty task you can think of. The handle is grippy, the quality of build is phenomenal, seriously a sledge that lasts a lifetime. Honestly, one of my new favorite tools, that I just cant wait to put to work. 1 inch rebar. 5 feet into the ground, like a breeze. Worth every penny.

If you break a lot of rocks, if you do hard rock mining, or if you've spent nights in bed with your arms raised from the throbbing pain of a wooden or fiberglass handled tools relentless assault on your body, you'll never stop thanking me for recommending this sledge. And because of how "cushy" it is to use, it gives you a great sense of safety to give each swing your absolute most, breaking stones and rocks even easier! If you're big and strong, I recommend the 20lb version of this, I could swing that all day and not break a sweat and still be able to sleep at night. If you need the 12lb because the mines have been more and more strict with their weight limits, then get this one instead. I bring both so on days where certain twigs are shoved up tightly into certain places, I can just use the 12lb hammer so none of the managers complain, but when they're more chill and laid back, I bust out the 20lb and break rock like the universe intended it to be broken. Have fun and be safe. Also, even if you use this for more boring tasks, it will give you such joy to swing what is essentially unbreakable, and so so forgiving as far as RSI is concerned, that those tasks may not be as boring anymore. I LOVE THIS HAMMER AND ALL THE OTHER SLEDGES/HAMMERS WILTON MAKE!
