This screen material was delivered very quickly and was easy to work with. As the listing says, this fiberglass screen material IS stronger than the polyester stuff I’ve used before. The 39 x 118 inch size was very easy to cut with household scissors. There was enough material to replaced three of my screens. It comes folded up in a small box and I let the folded screen air out on my patio table for a few hours before working on it. It’s a bonus that it is black, as is provides privacy in the day time.

The screen is dark and lightweight. This is good for windows or screen doors that are light duty. The fabric is not pet proof, it will easily rips from their paws, but it’s great for anything else. I re-screened a slider with it and it’s easy to work with and seems like a decent quality for the price. I will be able to use the leftovers on a couple small windows.

This screen appears sturdy and easy to work with. It does stretch enough to make a good fit. Plus the extra on the edges trims good with a blade. I find it less expensive than comparable screens available. It is worth the cost and looks OK. If it does not hold up, I'll update.

Two parts to this review:1. the product seems to be well made. It's kind of a thicker screen & seems to be well made. I had to buy another screen to actually use (see #2 below) from a local hardware store. That screen was nice, but this one seemed to be a little more solid/slightly thicker. If this review were just on the screen materials, it would be a 5.2. The picture is very misleading. It shows a roll of screen, but what you get is a folder flatpack of screen with a note that the creases in the screen will come out over time. I bought this to replace some screens at my mom's house. When it came, I took it out, and laid it as flat as I could (it's 100-some inches long so it's hard to get it perfectly flat) but the creases were still there when I headed over to her house later, so I had to buy more from another store. I didn't want to put up a screen with a fold in it that would maybe come out & maybe not & if it did, would it make the screen loose & saggy? Plus, there is nowhere to really store all of the extra screen, without folding it back up. Maybe if you have an extra Christmas paper roll, you could use that, but otherwise, you have to fold it back up & then unfold it when you want to use it again. The packaging was the big letdown for me.If you know that you will have this in advance of when you want to use it & you have space where you can lay it flat for a while (not sure how long it took, as I gave up after I bought the other roll), this is a nicely made screen & will probably work well for you. But don't buy it if you think you are going to get it delivered at 10 AM, and start using it 30 minutes later.

I used it for a replacement on one of the windows in a house I'm working on and it looks great! Very clean look and great at keeping bugs out if you want to open the window a bit.Also, for any bird owners-I used what I had left to cover the sides of my aviary since they produce a lot of dust, feathers, and other bits of mess from food etc. It happens to be amazing at keeping feathers, food, bits of mess, and most dust from getting out of the cage so the area around the aviary has been significantly cleaner. This also stands as a testament to it's ability in a window, it'll keep bugs and debris out quite well.

Looks great! I’m still waiting on the framing material for my diy screens. Making screens is very easy. This screen is great if you have frames already and just need to replace the screen material. My windows have no screens at all and I love fresh air so screens are a must when the weather is right. The screen material is black and good quality. I can’t wait to make my screens!

Got this to use to keep the pigeons off of my balcony. Over the course of a few years the influx of pigeons in my mid/large sized city has grown a ton! And in this time these birds have literally taken over my third floor Balcony! This seems like a silly thing. BUT it’s a major issue for me, I haven’t been able to enjoy the space I have outside because these birds will not leave! They have covered everything in droppings, they have made countless nests and keep poppin out babies! I want my space back!!!!!My friend suggested a DIY fix.This mesh screen material is perfect for the job! My canopy balcony is roughly 15 feet by 8 feet, i will need more of this material to complete this particular project. However I am confident to know that this will work exactly how I intend it to! To keep the pigeons and bugs out but let sunlight in!!Strong, lightweight, flexible and overall very very good quality!

This is a review for the Hofudon 59 x 106 Inch Fiberglass Mesh Window Screen. The measurements on the screen that I received were accurate. The screen is made out of fiberglass which will hopefully be more tear resistant . I accidentally tore some existing window screens by not being careful with my pressure washer, so this will replace the ones that I messed up. I have large windows so I might be able to get 3 screens out of this size. The color is black and the weave seems tight enough to keep out most bugs and flying insects. It is thick but easily pliable. The price at the time of this writing 3-17-2025 seems fair. I don't know if I am allowed to list the price., so I will leave it off. I will update later when I actually install the screens. (Just a note about the photos that I included...looks a little thin in some spots but on inspection it isn't ---just the photo for some unknown reason) For now, I give a 4.5.
