This product fits like a factory part! I bought a cheaper version of these on eBay. The clips, top and bottom, that are on the outer pieces came right off and the screw holes on the inner pieces didn't exactly line up. All in all, nothing about them fit correctly and I sent them back. This product fits perfectly and is easy to install. If you need pillar trim molding, this is the one to get.

Arrived on time. Install of base component was fine. While attempting to snap in the final clip on the top trim piece it cracked into multiple pieces.

Our vehicle has had a recall for quite some time and every time we reach out to the dealership they have a back log of vehicles in line waiting for the A-Pillar windshield trim piece which is prone to breaking and flying off of the Ford Explorers. After 6 months, I finally got tired of my wife driving around with the missing pillar. I compared a few here on Amazon and after extensive research on reviews and price I decided to purchase the right side A-Pillar for our 2016 Ford Explorer. It took me about 15 minutes to remove the old remaining pieces, clips and screws and then install the new pieces back onto the car. Once I had secured the screws and removed the double sided tape I made sure to add weight to the side of the pillar secured by the double sided tape for about 1/2 hour. Then I proceeded to tape the entire A-Pillar down with Painters tape for a full 24hrs. Since the install 2 months ago we have had no issues and it looks great!

My factory trim peace blew off and broke the lower bracket with it on my 2014 Ford Explorer. This replaced both parts, was easy to install (just be gentle), and looks great.

Although they look almost identical to the ones on the vehicle, they actually don’t fit. In order to fit, they need to twist a bit but it puts stress on the connections. They failed while trying to get the top one in, which was impossible. My windshield had a crack and needed to be replaced anyways, and when they do that, they have to replace these, so thankfully they installed some with the new windshield.

It was fun getting it to fit just right. The rubber gasket was twisted and I had a hard time getting it to stay in place. Later on I found that the adhesive that helped it stay together, melted out towards the windshield. I did not see it until I was cleaning the windshield and it got all over everything. I had to clean it off with WD40.

When my order arrived...It had one of the middle clips already broken....good thing it came with extra clips. Unfortunately....when I went to install the top trim piece....the top clip closest to the roof crumbled upon insertion. This doesnt have a replacement....I would need a whole new piece. Went out and bought glue instead....we will see how it holds up.
