Drip ring / collar

This set makes me feel fancy. I love having it, I love opening the box in front of people. It's like opening the brief case for pulp fiction, people always want to know what is in there and what I'm about to do. The wine opener is a really classy device, it makes opening bottles really easy. I love the foil cutter and aerator, it all matches, and feels very high end, like something they'd bring out for bottle service at a nice restaurant.

I am replacing a Houdini lever corkscrew that was excellent and last a few years.This Aroms corkscrew works the same way and seems of a good quality. Since I have used only once, so far, I can’t speak to quality and durability. But it appears very good.

This wine opener set would make a nice gift for wine enthusiasts. The carton it comes in is nice for gift giving and great for storing all its contents. I ordered this set for myself but would feel okay about giving it to someone as a gift. I have used various corkscrew openers, some with less success than others, and often with no small amount of frustration. This set takes away some of that frustration. First of all, the whole set is solid, made of decent quality materials. I like that it includes a foil cutter. This may seem like the least important item, but I used an old cutter a lot until it finally gave out. This one is made better than the one I had. I also like the wine pourer feature as I hadn't used one before but wished I had one. This pourer spout looks nice and works well. The only stoppers I've used were hard silicone ones of various sizes. Those work fine for me, but in a good bottle of wine when you have company or giving it as a gift, this silver/stainless stopper is so much nicer. Now for the only thing that made me hold back a star: the tooth handle lever has a catch in it...it sticks a bit in one spot. I have to jiggle the handle a little to get it to go down smoothly. I haven't used one of these rabbit ears openers before, so I thought it was just me; however, I do think it should work a bit more smoothly. Even with that bit of annoyance, this is still a much better device and easier to use than anything I have used before.
