CRAP!!! Nice double container for bottles and the backpack is ok but the flatware is very cheap plastic. It’s bound to break after one use. I will replace it before gifting.

Ordered several of these for Christmas gifts, all the wine glasses leak through the stems! Very disappointing! Yesterday was the first time two of them were used on a picnic! First time and all of them leaked! I was so embarrassed as they were gifts! Do not recommend this product at all!

I've been looking forever for a picnic basket type gift for my husband but a lot of them seemed impractical for anything more than a city park picnic. I wanted something comfortable/easy to carry enough for a short hike, so a picnic backpack is perfect! The pack seems sturdy and the material is great - easy to wipe off and won't get dirty if set on the ground. The dishes inside are great for picnicking and there's plenty of space for food and drinks. The insulated pockets on the outside are really big and I put food in one and a bottle of wine or sparkling water in the other. It's perfect for 2!Like most people, I rely on honest product reviews to make purchase decisions. This was exactly what I was looking for. It was not available in my preferred colour but in dealing with the seller was able to select another colour. They were very helpful, and courteous in assisting me to do so. The backpack is well made, the stitching is strong and it is just the right size for carrying as a backpack. The straps are padded in the right place to make it comfortable to carry. I was pleased to see the size of the thermal food compartment and was also please to see the velcro straps to anchor your wine or beverage containers. This will be used on many a hike and picnic.

I purchased this item and received an email saying the item was on backorder for at least 8 weeks, not surprising at Christmas time. I emailed a request that I be notified when the item would be available. No reply. I tracked down the item a few months later and purchased it. It's fantastic, my parents love it!!

I purchased this backpack as a bridal shower gift for a couple who loves to hike, bike and camp. Since they also love to snack on wine and cheese, they loved it. I especially liked the fact that the gift was so fitting for this couple, but still allowed me to wander off their registry!!!The only reason I did not award the 5th star is that the backpack lacks a separate, dry compartment for a camera.

The good: if you're carrying several things like travel chairs or you're hiking, it's great to have your hands free. The wine compartment keeps wine cooler than I expected. The plate and cutting board are adequate.The not-so-hot: the wine bottles have to be unopened or a screw top because a cork sticking up will not fit back into the tight compartment (plan on finishing that wine before you pack up to leave!). The compartment is almost too tight for the rapid ice cooler that I bought on Amazon to fit around the bottle for transport. Unusual shaped, wider bottom wine bottles not recommended. Overall it is a fun thing to have. Will be nice to upgrade the (really unattractive) cloth napkins.

There are more expensive and larger backpacks out there, for the price, craftsmanship, and available space it was an awesome gift. Keep in mind that it is not an Igloo Cooler, the food compartment probably has a somewhat elastic 2-3 inch worth of horizontal space available for packing a light meal. The utensils are of fair quality as well. I can see it holding up as long as it is cared for.

Perfect for hiking to a remote picnic spot. Just right size to hold food and wine for 2, while not being too heavy or awkward to carry on the trail. Comes with all the tools you need, including a cutting board and knife/spreader that is sharp enough for cheese or apples.
