I have this installed in my AK-47. Installation was easy and product works great. I would recommend this base to anybody.

Works as said. Installation is a little tricky but works great when put in.

It's not worth of buying it. Doesn't mount down tight. It's shipping on time but the product is not good at all. No matter how much you tie it down it still moves.

This is a good alternative to the side mount but you lose the rear iron site. Fits right up and mounts well though.

I wasn't expecting this to be a wonderful instant fit outta the box but, it's too thin that already says it's not for a real firearm. But I'll see what I can do it's just a red dot. So it's going to need washers, get calipers out and measure it left to right. Mine was 1.3 to the right, not cut straight front to back a difference of .8 not .08 .8 which cantered it more to the right. Once I figured out the right combination of washers stuffed between the sight and base and filing, sanding to get it level. Putting on an AK rear sight is a pain with out trying to get washers and holes to line up but to find out they threaded the hole and it's crooked as all hell and won't even line up to the other side. And if it could it wouldn't even be to the left, it would be at about 4 o'clock. So I cut off the first 3mm of the bottom, drilled a proper hole, used brass washers and a real steel screw & nut. Now the set screws.1st it's aluminum, you can only go so tight it will strip, use thread Lock, level it before, during, and after setting those screws. Give it a few hours before putting on your mount. It will work if your capable of making it work. Still to high especially in back, not exactly straight, it works for 100 yard well enough for the money it was a fun project. Might try it again.

Added this to my WASR-10. Pretty solid rail that eliminates the need for the side-mounted options you usually have to consider. More than enough rail for a Reflex sight, etc. Strangely enough, looking down the center channel of the rail lines up with the "iron" sight out front (mine's reflective plastic but anyways). Even with the optic on haha. Almost useful. For anyone struggling to remove your original back sight with the spring, the easy method to remove it is pretty simple. Lay a shop towel or rag over the sight piece, line up a sturdy flat head screwdriver into the center channel of the sight right over the joint, and just whack the bottom of the screwdriver. The sight will just pop out (the rag keeps it from flying, similar to popping a spring in a tremolo equipped guitar or other such). Take a pair of plyers and just pull the flat spring out out, you don't need it and it will make putting this rail in almost impossible. Of course, with the varying builds of AK's your mileage may vary. On my WASR, I didn't need to grind or modify anything, it all lined up nicely and worked correctly. Worth buying for sure.
It worked!

Instalation was easy. It looks great, and has a notch sight so you can use the original front sight post as well as your optic of choice. I had no issues with using it. And it's made of durable aluminum built to last.
