Yes, all that and more. Let me start by saying, I am a horrible procrastinator. I'd been meaning to work on my headlights forever and kept putting it off. By the time I finally did they were is such a terrible mess. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. The haze, oxidation, and abrasions from sun, dirt and debris were so bad I could drive at night only by using my bright lights and they weren't even as bright as the dims should have been. So I finally got what I thought was going to be the prefect day to work on this project. The instructions say not to get wet for 24 hrs. This day was perfect. Mid 70's and slightly overcast so it would be nice to work but no rain in the forecast. I worked and worked on my headlights, especially the one on the driver's side, it was considerably worse for wear than the other one. When they were done and the clear coat applied, they looked so incredibly good, like new. I went on about my day and about 6 hrs later, out of nowhere the worst looking storm clouds you can imagine rolled in, and I was scrambling trying to figure out a way to keep those headlights dry. I ended up using a windshield cover that straps to the car and put it round the front end of the car, and it looked like it would work out fine. UNTIL.....A tornado starts to form practically right over the house, leaving us all dashing for the basement as the rain and all "hail" broke loose. 3 inch hail in fact. It didn't last long. About 15 mins later we climbed back out of the basement and first thing I did was look to see what happened to the car. My cover was intact everywhere except right in front where, of course, it had flipped off of the headlights. To say the least they got wet. The car was saved from hail damage by the tree I was parked under, but it didn't stop all the rain. I went out to check and you couldn't really tell right then what the rain did, but the next day I could see a few spots on the passenger side, just looks like water spots on a glass that won't rub off. The driver's side didn't fair as well, it must have gotten the brunt of the storm on that side. I got a small amount hazing back along the lower side, and a few water spots. I don't blame the product for this though. It says don't get it wet, and it means DON'T get it wet. In fact for something that takes 24 hours to cure to survive rain, hail and a tornado after six hours. That is pretty darned good in my book. And, I have to say despite the slight damage done by getting wet, my headlights are as bright as new now. I even have to remember to dim the lights when I have oncoming traffic again. Honestly, if your headlights are hazed, just a bit of elbow grease, a little time, and a place to keep it dry for 24 hours and they will be like new again. You won't regret it.

I had replaced left headlights as it was broken, and the right headlight(8 years old ) started looking ugly, white.I spent half an hour wet sanding it and washed cleaned, dried and applied wipe new.Now the difference, between the new and old is barely noticable.Only on close observation can you notice the different. It didnt make it look like brand new but i can say 95% like new.TIP: Make sure you spend good time wet sanding.

Finally got to use this.....and believe me IT DOES JUST AS IT SAYSThis product is easy to use, works very wellAfter reading the instructions i thought it is sort f misleading the way they do the commercialsfor it says you must sand the headlight cover...but one only does that IF the headlight is really bad .It comes with a cloth, some gloves a sanding block ( double sided )and the Restoring chemical wipe .It says you need to spray with water, IF the lens is clear with water on it, you do not need to sand itBUT, if the lens is still hazy with water on it you have to sand it first.with water mine was clear..But I decided to sand it some anyway as it appeared roughI lightly sanded Both headlights using Both sides of the sanding block while keeping the lens wet with waterWet sanding gets rid of all the oxidation and the grime off the lens.i then dried the headlights completely and as the directions instructed with the cloth includedI used the included gloves and applied the chemical with the included covered clothIt has a horrible odor and you need a lot of ventilation when using this product. When i applied wiped the lens with the chemical, they were sparkling clear, they appeared like new.they said give it an hour to dry and to not wipe more than once...and if you did it correct it was fineNow if you did it wrong or in direct sunlight it could possibly streak and it says there is Nothing you can doto reverse the streaking. So pay attention to what your doing. It also says give 24 hours to completely cure and do not allow it to get wet by anything, including dewtime will tell if this is a long lasting solution....but right now these headlights look brand newI am impressed at how easy it really was and how well it worksreally restored to new appearance .so yeah, it is Wiped NEW .
