I had to do a complete rewire of my electric utility cart's controller wiring. I wanted it to look nice and went with this tape to finish things up. The quality is good, flexible, and grips the wires nicely. The color matches the OEM look. Overall, it functioned perfectly for my needs and there were several rolls included to make sure I didn’t run out.

This tape is a must have for DIY wiring jobs. The adhesive on this tape is great, and holds well in harsh temperatures. The tape is easy to cut, does not stretch, and resists abrasive damage. This set included five rolls that measure 3/4 inch by 50 feet, and should last a long time. This tape is ideal for organizing the wiring harness in your computer, and also works great to provide a cushioned handle on metal tools.

I'm in the process of sound deadening a 2014 Mazda 6 I just purchased. If you're not aware, this is quite a process. There's quite a bit of Kilmat and other insulation materials involved. One of the most crucial steps when sound deadening is to make sure all wiring is secure and won't rattle when the subwoofer drops that bass. You can see in the attached photos (A) the manufacturer uses the exact same product (or at least it looks the same) and (B) this tape came in very handy when working on the front door. To get 5 rolls for this price is a great value. I'm positive I will go through at least a roll or two during the course of this project. Very pleased. Will def keep this stuff in mind when I need to wrap and secure electrical wiring. NOTE, this is NOT electrical tape. It's not meant to be used on bare wires. It's meant to secure, group, and/or organize wiring that has its coating intact. ***UPDATE*** Just wanted to add that this tape is easy to tear with your hands, so it makes for very fast use when doing a big job like I am working on now. Very nice that you get clean tears to work with instead of having to break out the scissors.

This is my first experience with cloth wire harness tape. My first impression of this tape is that is sticks really well. Pulling some tape off of the roll results in a bit of fuzz lifted off of the tape on the roll. Not a big deal since I overlap as I go, and it's not something that I'll look at all the time. The fuzz may grab dirt though.The second thing that I noticed is that it doesn't stretch. Unlike electrical tape, this cloth tape has no elasticity. So, use consistent tension on the tape while wrapping your wire bundle. You can tear it with your fingers, but it's easier to use scissors or a knife. You can't pull it like electrical tape and expect it to break. I consider this a good thing - this tape is pretty strong.

5 pretty big rolls and so many uses.I recently installed a dashcam but since my vehicle is leased, I did not want to take things apart and run the wires under things. So I opted for this tape and some wire clips.The tape is holding up very well and it is 20 degrees the past few weeks so I expected it to peel off but it is still sticking. I used it in high traffic areas like around the passenger door, under and behind the glove compartment. It has helped to keep the wire tucked up and out of the way. My son gets in the car everyday with is giant feet and has hit into it a few times but the tape has held up and I haven't had to redo any of it.

If you are into cars or tech and find yourself building wiring harnesses this tape is a must have! The flexibility and ease of use of this tape is awesome! It's properly sticky too! It doesn't slip or slide once you've wrapped it around the harness and it will protect your wiring from rubbing or damage from tucking the harness under carpet or against the body. I haven't had an opportunity to see how it holds up over time with the heat of an engine bay but it IS rated for 221F which is more then enough for a wiring harness in your engine bay! After doing a bunch of wrapping though i wish it was a bit wider though because it would make wrapping the harnesses a lot faster, however, before buying a wider tape just note that thinner tape is easier to wrap around tight bends with any issues of the tape wrinkling or giving you trouble making the corner.If i had to make 1 complaint it would be that the adhesive is SO good that it can be a pain in the butt to get the end of the tape loose when trying to start wrapping. That tape end loves to stick to the roll! So once you get it started double it over itself when your done to leave a little tail.
