I actually ordered a couple of different adapters like this. They both seemed to have minimal latency issues but for the most part work great. This particular adapter came with an extra external usb charging port, which makes it nicer compared to others I’ve seen. It came with Velcro stickers it can be mounted out of the way. Of the two adapters I purchased this one had the longest cord and the lesser of the very slight and almost unnoticeable latency issues. The product also came with usb adaptable connector to change from usb to usb c types. I would recommend this product to anyone that has the extra cord space or a console it can be mounted inside. I still continue to use this one everyday.

I got this for my boyfriend to use in his 2023 Dodge Durango SXT that has carplay/android auto capability. It took less than a minute for this device to connect to the car and for his phone to connect to it. We went out shopping and each time we got back in the car, the device connected immediately and started playing Pandora from his phone. It was several days before we went out again, and this time the device only connected for phone calls. He had to unplug the device from the car and plug it back in. That worked and it immediately connected like the first time and started working. If that's the extent of troubleshooting it takes to get this device to work, then I'm happy with it. It could be user error. We'll have to test it again the next time we go out. Overall, this device exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this device.

Compact, convenient design, good connection:This product is compact and easy to find a spot for in the front of the vehicle. The product is also relatively durable despite its smaller size and able to withstand accidental dropping or mishandling without issue. The product is conveniently designed thanks to a short dongle that doesn't stress the USB port or dangle down too low where it could fall between the seats. The product also allows for simultaneous charging and is ideal if you charge your phone via a wired connection while driving, since this won't hog the USB port. The product maintains a stable audio connection with my phone and the audio streams through clearly and without distortion or any sort of lagging issue.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

I drive a 2020 Chevy Bolt. I have paired my smart phone with it via Android Auto. I can make and receive calls and texts, but if I want to use other apps like my GPS, I have to plug my phone into the car. That's not a huge deal, but I have wished I had everything at my disposal all the time. A few months ago I tried a "wireless carplay adapter" and, sigh, it didn't work for me. It wouldn't connect. I decided to try again and got this one. I spent a few minutes reading the tiny instruction manual. Then I crossed my fingers and plugged in the adapter and paired it with my phone. To my surprise, it worked! The first time! My GPS and maps came up all on their own. My other apps work too.You ask: Can you watch TV on it? I don't know. The apps appear to support it, but I don't want anybody watching TV on a screen I can see while I'm driving. So anyway, if I can do it, you can too! Having wireless connections for everything is really more convenient.

I've tried a couple of different wireless Carplay adapters. They all work and they all seem to have the same issue. Once paired, my phone does not show it as being connected to this device. It is connected and working (Carplay options are available on my car's screen without hardwired connections). It just strikes me as odd that the phone's status in relation to this Bluetooth device is "not connected." I have not tried to charge something while using this, but that is a nice feature to have.

Admittedly I didn't understand the utility & convenience of this little device when it came up in my Vine selections! Hubby said we could really use it for our truck (Toyota Tacoma) *if* it does what is in the description, because it couples the truck to the phone wirelessly-PLUS has a charger.Well, this little device delivers-it is super easy to couple your phone to the android auto & now we can get in/out of the truck without always having to plug/unplug the phone, so for running errands, or work days with multiple locations, you don't have to think about it, no digging the phone out of your purse or pocket-just get in & go. The fact that it has a charger means driver or passenger can charge their device too, so that's an added bonus that really matters. Android devices ARE notoriously finicky regarding the quality of the cables. This device has very nice quality cables.I selected the silver, it also looks great. So glad I did not pass this item up to review-If you are in/out of the vehicle a lot, dropping off kids, deliveries, multiple worksite locations-this is going to make your day easier. The only thing I can't review at this point is longevity. Hoping it is made to endure the heat of the vehicle, while it won't be left in full sun, parked cars get HOT in the summer.Coming in at a list price $65.99 USD as of 2/19/25, price is a little high, but I'd not hesitate to buy it for $40. It really is the thing you didn't know you needed until you have it!If there are any issues, I'll be right back here to edit.
