To be perfectly honest, I thought I only needed the top lamp replacement for my refrigerator because that was the one that kept flickering before it officially died. So I replaced the top lamp, and it turned on and started flickering. What I realized shortly after is that I needed to replace the bottom lamp as well (behind the plastic drawers for storing fruit and such) and thankfully, this package came with two of that exact light. The moment I replaced the bottom lamp, the light for the whole fridge returned. No flickering, no issues. I watched a few videos online how to replace the lamps; they were incredibly easy to follow. I’m immensely happy with my purchase!

This controller came with a test light and easy instructions. The replacement of the main overhead controller fixed the flickering lights in all of locations.

I am happy to say that all lights in my refrigerator are all on and working! Very easy to replace. Just make sure you unplug or turn off breaker to your refrigerator before install. I did buy warranty just in case because some of the reviews. To me it’s worth it. Hope this helps.

I haven’t use this product yet, because the old light miraculously came back on. According to YouTube that can happen. I’m keeping this item in my stock for when the light finally totally gives out. Because of that I can’t really comment on the light itself.

The plastic is so cheap that the tabs broke off of the lens on the first one when simply snapping it into place. See attached photo. (Circuit board was removed on broken one). I was able to remove the circuit board and thankfully it fit into the whirlpool housing that I was replacing. That factory part snapped back in place fine, even though the plastic was old and has been in freezing temperatures for years and was taken out and snapped in before. Meanwhile the brand new plastic of these replacements is so cheap that it couldn’t even snap in place once. If the quality of your product is that bad that it can’t even be installed once, then one star for you. I don’t have much hope that the LED circuit board will last very long now.

Boards worked when installed but shell clips weak and broke when trying to install In two of the 3 locations. Had to use the original shells to complete the install. Plastic is weak in replacement shells. Guess we will see how long these replacement boards last.

I have an 8-year old Whirlpool refridgerator, the Freezer light (LED Pack) went out and since they are all connected in series, the two fridge lights (LED Packs) also went out. Total garbage design flaw. Whirlpool replacement LED packs are around $180 each. I was able to buy this set with all 3-LED packs for 1/3 the cost. They fit perfect, without any modifications, and are brighter than the Factory lights. Tip: I watched youtube videos to figure out how to remove the old lights, not difficult at all.
