It's a good all purpose tool and Amazon had the best price when I made this purchase. Very good quality and 3 different angles. I still had to fine tune the blade angle out of the box. It comes with two plastic guides to set the blade angle, but this didn't exactly match my Herdin peg reamer. I still prefer using an adjustable peg shaper as it's easier to match the exact hole diameter on an older violin. Also, this comes with a plastic handle that fits over a peg and provides additional leverage for turning the pegs. While it's a nice theory, I have yet to find a violin peg that fits into the slot - and I've tried a bunch. All in all, if you only want to buy one peg shaper, this is a very good choice.
