Good quality for the price. It's much sturdy than the golden color type. This works for me.

High quality product made in Germany, a little bit more expensive then ones made in China but worth the price.

Works great. Easy to install and use. I bought three since my violin on came on the E string. No rattling.

Worked great, not much to these things and it didn't explode or damage my violin in any way. The tuning is smooth and as far as I can tell it stays where you put it and any out of tune strings are my fault or just how violins and strings move around a bit.

No doubt this fine-tuner is well built and works smoothly. However, the slot is too narrow and the hole too small for all but the E-string. I had to widen the slot with a screwdriver for the G, D, and A strings, hoping not to break the piece by bending the prongs too far apart. It seems that the thread winding at the ball end makes the overall diameter of the string too thick to fit in the slot and hole. Once the slot was widened, I still had to force the strings into place. This would not be a problem with loop end strings. Were it not for this difficulty, I would give it five stars. Since it is advertised as appropriate for both ball and loop end strings, I give it three.

This is a high quality tune, I would recommend you get the best and this is it. It is easy to install... I have only been playing 6 months and found I could install it myself. It is surprisingly low cost.

I am using them but they're less than ideal. The way they fit on my tailpiece was so that they did not extend far out enough from the tailpiece to accommodate the ball at the end of the string.

This tuner works very easily, not stiff or hard to turn as some tuners are. I'm not sure exactly why that is, because they seem very simple and you'd think they'd all work the same, but they don't for some reason. So these would be good replacements for stiff or old tuners.
