The gasket sucks. Could not get it to quit dripping or leaking after install. Ended up buying an oem one and calling it good.

Filter looks fine and fit well. I did buy an upgraded metal core gasket since I use an aftermarket pan but the one that came with this would probably be fine for the factory pan with the raised area around the bolt holes.

At first I was concerned that this might be an off-brand filter and gasket in a Wix-labeled box, but found the logo molded into the filter, so we're good. The filter is of equal quality to the original filter I would say. For all the pre-reusable gasket E4OD's, this gasket is great. I tightened mine to the minimum recommended torque (10 lb-ft) and had a slight amount of seepage at the rear of the pan. Tightened just those rear bolts to the maximum torque (14 lb-ft) and no more seepage. It's hard to find a rubber gasket for this application instead of cork, but this one fits the bill, again, as long as your E4OD doesn't use the newer-style reusable rubber gasket, which is NOT interchangeable with the older-style pan.

Can't go wrong with Wix. Just don't waste your time using the gasket, it's junk. 2001 f250 has a reusable gasket anyway.All my filters I use are wix. Never any issues.

I ordered this along with another filter that was slightly different in order to insure one of the products fit. This is the filter with the longer drain port. Used on the deep transmission pans in the ford e40d with 4x4. Good product. Comes with a rubber gasket. Cork and rubber gaskets are not interchangeable on this application.

I have an F-350 4x4 with the 4R100 transmission. This filter looks like good quality and fitment was correct. The reusable gasket on my pan was still in good shape, so I did not use the one provided with the filter.
