A little pricey but its hard to find one of these in steel let alone stainless steel. Yes you can find the ones that engage the rear hub with a gear width but those are prone to damaging the hub.Cons:cost 79.95US, you get what you pay for!wheres the 15T cog!?!Pros:well builtsimple and elegantlightstainless steel constructionIf I do another single speed conversion I would buy this product again. The only Wolf Tooth product I've had trouble with is their quick release seat post clamp... but that's for a different review...

Overpriced but great single speed cog. Just like a Chris king cog but more money. 17t Allowed for the magic gear (no tensioner needed) for my Trek FX carbon sport 4 -single speed conversion with the stock front chainring.

I've had great luck with Wolf Tooth products in the past, but this one disappointed me. The cog didn't slide over the cassette. The notches that go over the HG driver were shallower in the middle of the notches than the outer edges. This prevented the cog from installing on the freewheel, it was too tight. I took a dremel and a hand file to each of the notches to raise the center part. It now fits, but this shouldn't be required for a $60 premium cog. I feel like the surly cog it replaced was better built.As a side note, I also ordered an 18t and a 19t direct from wolftooth. Those fit just fine. But the 20t had those non-square notches. It wasn't worth sending back and dealing with the hassle of a return, but for this price, it should be perfect. I lost a little bit of faith in Wolf Tooth from this experience.

Well made, stainless steel cog. Finish is great and it fit perfectly onto my Stan's hub. No issues so far, and don't anticipate any. Will update review if any irregularities occur with wear overtime.
