It's tricky to know how an online purchase will fit, but I was incredibly and pleasantly surprised at this jacket. It's comfortable, fits very well, not too tight, not too loose. I've loved wearing this for our private chef events!

i got this for work, i am a line cook, and i am 5’2” and about 115 pounds, i got a small and it was like a medium almost, too big for me but someone might fit it better, still a good chefs coat

Wow, what you see is what you get. And now a days that is not always the case. Great quality and heavy-duty fabric and I love the fit. Sometimes chef's jackets are a little too loose and you find yourself getting caught on things in the kitchen that could turn a great day into a bad one very quickly. I love the short sleeves for certain times of the year that I will be working in the canning kitchen but nothing that would expose my arms to the danger of being burned. I love it in black, and I must admit, I don't look too bad in it for an old chef.

First, this shirt fits perfectly per the size chart. That alone tells me that this is high quality - inaccurate size charts are the bane of my existence, and it has been my experience that if a vendor has an accurate size chart, everything else will be great too. This shirt is shaped for real women! With real chests. What a miracle.The material and stitching are of excellent quality and it looks GREAT on. It is also soft and comfortable yet sturdy enough for kitchen work. I am not a professional chef, but I am in a dining club where we take turns cooking in each others' homes. I can't wait to show off this shirt the next time it is my turn! The buttons are easy to do (as most people know, the reason for the double buttons is that you can hide the stains on the shirt when it is time to go greet guests in the dining room!) so I'll be able to look clean, crisp, and pulled together no matter what happens in the kitchen (and usually many messy things happen!) I would definitely order this again and wish they'd make regular women's shirts, too, since they are shaped perfectly. Love, love, love.
