These were just what we needed for our arcade game table. However, they were very shiny. So we simply sanded a little but the paint was very thin so required a tiny bit of black touchup and sprayed a clear satin finish. So for 20 minutes of labor, now they’re perfect.

This is so uncomfortable! Your sitting on a hard disk of wood. There is no cushion at all! The legs are really wide and not like the listing photo plus it is glossy black. I do not recommend it for $200!

I purchased this bench to use with a harp. I prefer this type--round swivel seat--over a rectangular bench. It is much sturdier than my previous bench (different company, but same style). The top is firm, but comfortable. I rather like the shiny black finish which some don't care for, but it matches the finish on my harp. It was well-packed in a heavy duty box, so it arrived with no damage, which I appreciate. I feel it will last for many years. I would recommend it.

Very nice. I ordered a 14 inch bar stool cover to go with it. The only complaint I saw in the reviews was that the pad was to thin. So I looked up bar stool covers and got one to match my other furniture! Works great for playing guitar as well as my new Yamaha P71 keyboard.

First, please know that I own a Leather Deluxe Pillow Top Adjustable Concert Piano Bench that I purchased from CPS Imports. I was so impressed with the quality components and workmanship that I decided to invest in this Adjustable Piano Stool for Bass practice. Again, the quality of construction is stellar, however I am thoroughly disappointed in one vital component… the seat!The photo gave me the impression that there was adequate padding but there is not.The 14” wide top portion of the stool has maybe 1/8 inch of padding covering a 1 inch thick wooden base. I can barely sit for 30 minutes of practice before the discomfort of the hard surface overwhelms me. I’ve ordered a padded cover to try and compensate, which I shouldn’t have to do after investing nearly $200 (after tax & shipping) for this product.If not for Covid-19, I would send it back.Extremely frustrating…just so you know.

The stool is very sturdy, the seat is nice and firm (if it had any more extra padding, it would probably wear down and get a nice rear end imprint!), and looks very classy. The seat doesn’t spin too easily —which is perfect because I don’t want my fidgety students swiveling at the piano while they are playing. I like that I can raise and lower the seat to the appropriate height of each of my students. I only wish I had seen that this came in a HIGH gloss finish. It would go great with a high gloss Steinway— but doesn’t go very well with my satin finished console piano. But, since it is well made, I am keeping it. (Just wish they offered a satin finish too!)

This bench is very strong. What I like the most is that it is adjustable. I am a short person, so I need a very low bench, but also it can be used by anyone in my house, from a little kid to a tall man. Even though it has a little padding on the sit, it feels well and it’s very stable.

Exceeded expectations. Totally corrected tension I was feeling in my hands due to height bracketing of previous seats I had tried. The center pole is thick metal and turns smoothly without bumps. Seat cushion is extremely comfortable and supportive. I sit up straight now with little effort. Although, i do wish it was just a bit taller, but I suppose I'm a rather tall individual. I heard complaint about the felt on the feet coming off, which I do agree will probably happen if I move it around too much. It hasn't yet on mine though after only a month; I'll just reglue something on it when it does. Overall the legs feel thick and sturdy though and I don't expect it to break in any near circumstance. Plus these old-style stools are just so cool!
