The cutting notches have no pass through. They clog quickly and need cleaning out very often. (Cutting lumber board). Works great till clogged.

Did not work well on tree roots, might be good on soft cured woods, too much work.

Used it to grind down tree roots in my yard that prevented my mower from riding over it.. Worked great

I bought this to level out some tree roots that were sticking up in my yard. This thing levels them out in no time. Grinds them up to saw dust fast. Try not to get the wheel into the dirt which can dull the cutters.
