It was easy for this 75 yr. old lady to put together this sturdy and well-made footrest. It is perfect for my porch bench. I love that it is a bright white and small enough to not take up too much room. It makes sitting on my porch so much more comfortable.

The level adjustment is easy and convenient and it's a good foot rest. Adds comfort when sitting at my desk for a long time. It would have been better if the silicone surface had been already attached.

This footrest is a great addition to my home office! The adjustable height is perfect for improving my posture, and the silicone surface is comfortable. It’s lightweight and easy to assemble, and the ergonomic design helps reduce fatigue. I love that it can also be used as a calf stretcher, and it’s a practical solution for long hours at the desk. Highly recommend!

From a picky buyer, this was well worth a buy! It may not look like it, but they put some careful thought into designing this; it's definitely not haphazardly put together.First, it's made of thick plywood, which means it's sturdy enough for a 180lb me to stand on with full weight AND should prevent warping over time! Also, the bars across the bottom are oriented vertically and have a slot for them on both side walls, on top of being attached by thick screws, which ensures maximum stability for the martial. In comparison, my previous plastic-made one broke without even standing on while this one allowed me to stand on it without any fear (I'm not recommending using this to stand on often like a step stool, but for testing purposes, I'm impressed!).Assembly notes: The orientation of the front crossbar (the one with the hinges) looks different from the instructions compared to how I put it together. I fear it may not work as intended if done exactly like the drawing in the instructions. I may be wrong, though. Also, the rubberized surface needs to be applied on your own, so go into it knowing that. I measured and drew guidelines at about 10mm(~3/8") from the bottom and 18mm(~5/8") from the side to help center it. After peeling it off, I also used the backing with a credit card to help smooth out bubbles without marking the surface. It's a long piece to work with, so it may require some level of craftiness to apply, depending on the person; me? I thought it was fun, but just something to know.After assembly, sliding in the rod that adjusts height was a bit tough on mine; tolerances may vary on other units. However, I feel this may ease out over time with wear, but I thought it should be mentioned.Overall, as simple a thing as it is, I am delighted with this little footrest!!

It was easy to assemble, took me about 10 minutes. They have pictures and a video on the product page in case you need help. They also provide the necessary tools, but I used my own screwdriver, since the one they provided is short and annoying to twist.It is a good-looking, sturdy, and functional foot rest. I use it under my work desk, and will try in the bathroom too. No funny smell or odor. The wood is a smooth finish, so no worries of splinters. Some edges are not flushed, but I think that is on purpose due to the 3 different height levels. I am size 7 and my husband is size 10 in shoes and both our feet fit comfortably on it (not at the same time though).The black silicone mat has 3M sticky glue on one side so can stick it onto the platform, but be careful that you don't misalign the mat because it will be hard to remove and will leave glue residue on the natural wood if taken off. I don't have a need for the black silicone mat, and I like the natural beige wood finish.
