Great for displays, decorative objects, tea parties or other pleasures. Would be especially eyecatching with bonsai on it.

This wooden serving platform has many possibilities. It is promoted as a 4 tier serving tray and fulfills that function very well. It can also serve as a bookshelf or display platform. Although there were no instructions, it was easy and fun to assemble it. Even though each shelf is supported by only 2 wooden posts, it is very sturdy, although I wouldn't load the top shelves with heavy books.

this is a beautiful plant/display stand, though i do think it's a bit overpriced. while the wood is on the thicker side, looks high quality, with a nice glossy smooth finish, it didn't come with instructions but it was fairly straightforward and it's obvious which is the top and bottom piece. it assembles with several double ended screws that thread into metal fasteners in the wood posts and rounds - however there's no real stopping point in the posts so it's best to screw them into the rounds first so they "stop" and then you can twist the round parts on. love the finish, though i hand tightened everything, it doesn't seem like they really grip but i don't want to strip them. i think it should hold up if kept relatively stable, i wouldn't recommend this for pop-ups/art shows, though, as i do think that repeatedly disassembling would wear out the hardware.

3 stars because it's not worse than typical modern home goods items, which is utilitarian and low quality. I liked that the stand is wood vs MDF, a nice color and finish that doesn't look rustic, and versatile size; doesn't have to be used in kitchen. Price only affects my rating if I believe it is unreasonably high or exceptionally low, because value is subjective and people can decide for themselves what they are willing to pay. I received this item in exchange for my review, but think the nearly $64 price is not worth it; if I paid that in $$$ I would have returned. Besides the cracks, it also arrived w/ some scuffs. I think a higher-quality wood and finish wouldn’t have come damaged, so my review considers this issue even if others receive an undamaged product. The top piece has 2 round recessed divots where the screws are visible - to be fair, that is shown in product photos but adds a layer of lazy design. The pine wood in general is better looking than MDF but in its entirety this just looks like some boards connected with dowels- the dowel connections are rough-edged in places so it isn't even a seamless transition. Asking price would have to be much lower to match expectations of given quality and to increase rating.I take time to write honest reviews that I would find helpful, whether favorable or not.

With the holiday season coming up, I was excited to give this a shot! I love the different levels and it'll make a great addition to a tablescape or even a centerpiece on a table spread for hors d'oeuvres and friends over. This is easy to put together but do have a little bit of a wobbly piece. One of one of the discs doesn't fit as tight as it should. I think this is probably just a one-off because otherwise, it seemed pretty well put together. I can still use it and I'm definitely going to! I even like the color as it blends with my mid-century furniture woods. I could even see this being used to display my little collection of some sort but for us it will be reserved for serving. Love that you can just store it right back in the box.

I was on a time crunch and needed a serving tray right away for a get together. I saw this and liked the aesthetics. The top circular tray broke right at assembly. The predrilled hole for the support contains a screw threading in the interior. This threading fell out right away, which made for an unfinished assembly. Unfortunately I was on a time frame and had to glue the top tray onto the support. Overall very disappointed.
