Biggest complaint: The bottom drawer does not shut all of the way. It appears the pre-installed rails are misplaced/defective.We built this according to the instructions that came in the package. The rest of the unit and top drawer function ok but it is definitely not a nice looking piece of furniture. Maybe ok for an office or closet, but I bought it for my home and upon seeing it, do not want it in sight in my living room/home office flex space.Quality is poor; the veneer is poorly attached with a lot of glue exposed at the seams. Some of the excess glue appears to scrape off when we clean it, but will require much elbow grease to get it all off.The packaging was horrendous. There is crumbling, staticky styrofoam everywhere. We had to have a damp cloth to unbox this product and wipe the pieces as they came out very messy.The product instructions and order details on Amazon lack the information needed to contact the seller regarding the defective drawer/rails. The only option we get is to return the item, but we fear we may not be granted the full refund, as the packaging came with a note saying returns would only be accepted in the original packaging. This is pretty much impossible and not worth the work to attempt to disassemble and re-pack after spending over an hour to build this thing.

I can't figure out why it's not possible for Amazon to identify in which country something is built. I didn't buy this for the price, I bought it for the height (exactly 2 feet). It's acceptable quality I suppose, but a drawer sticks, and given a choice between one built here in the States and one built overseas I'd buy the local one every time.

The actual materials are good but the build process at the factory is poorly done. I had to reposition both the drawer sliders as they were of a 1/4 an 1/8 inch off top to bottom. The drawers would not fully close.Secondly the metal tubes the folder sliders on are positioned too far apart. One side fit on but the other is out too far an metal file hanger doenst fit in groove.. Decided to keep though as after the mods its workable an didnt feel like reboxing an going to UPS

Was easy to assemble and holds all our files. We had to redistribute the weight because it’s a little top heavy and will too…thus the four stars. It looks great. Serves the purpose.

For the price paid, this filing cabinet will work well for me. Th quality is not the best. My husband clamped and glued the sides together so the structure was stronger. This made the file drawers pull in and out smoothly.
