My first time using three needles at once--tool worked well. Needles were easy to replace when I used them on something too thick and broke them (that's on me, not the product). A nice size that fits well in my hands.

As a beginning felter I'm always on the lookout for techniques and tools that can speed the process. This multi needle tool is effective, it can hold up to 3 needles for felting a larger surface area than a single needle. It's tricky to use, because getting the angle wrong during insertion or extraction will break the needle when working with just one needle so the challenge to avoid breakage is greater when using multiple needles at once. The handle seems to hold needles securely enough but because it's hollow it feels a little flimsy compared to my solid wood needle handles. It gets easier to use and more effective with practice. I think that for the price it's a good value.

I've been felting for years now. It's a great hobby, but there is a learning curve. This is just like the brand name 3 needle felting holder. except this is blue and (at the time of writing) $3 cheaper. It will hold one, two or three needles depending on your needs. Just remember that you have to pull your needles out at the same angle you poke them in or you will guaranteed break them. Some people find that a little difficult with a pen tool; I recommend holding a single needle in your hand if you find you are breaking them a lot with the pen tool. There is nothing about the tool that will cause your needles to break or not break, it's literally just a holder for them. I found the included needles to be very dull, so I switched them for my own needles, which I would have done anyway as I prefer finer needles. If you find that the included needles just won't poke into your wool, it's because they are dull. The tool comes apart and goes back together easily, and seems to stay together well, which is more than I can say for my Clover pen tool. Unscrew it at the white part to access the needle placement area. I like that it's a different color, because I can just know which is the two needle and which is the three by color. This is not wood, it's plastic.

I’m relatively new to wool felting and was having some trouble with fatigue and cramps in my fingers, so when I saw this ergonomic felting pen I decided to give it a try. What a difference this felting pen has made for me! It’s easy to use, made of sturdy plastic and easy to assemble. The only thing I didn’t like were the needles which seemed to be dull and fragile. Fortunately, I was able to replace them with better ones. Despite my disappointment with the quality of the needles I still believe that the pen is worthy of five stars because it’s sturdy, comfortable and easy to use such that the finger cramping and fatigue are now a thing of the past for me.

This felting tool is a good option if you're not sure if needle felting is going to be your thing, but you would like to try it out. The needles are barely adequate in quality (they're quite dull and feel like they might break easily), but the handle is fine for a beginner -- I recommend either buying better quality needles, or start out with a project kit that includes better quality needles.

This needle "pen" works well for wool felting. The handle is easy to grip, and the cover is tight enough to not easily fall off, which is important when working with felting needles. I gave it four stars since there is a compartment to store extra needles, which often break when felting, but no extra needles are provided. One additional set of needles would have given this item more value.

The tool’s ergonomic pen style design makes it incredibly easy to handle and maneuver, giving you precise control over your felting projects. It's lightweight and portable, making it perfect for on-the-go crafting or fitting neatly into your crafting supplies without taking up much space.Equipped with 3 needles, this tool offers efficient felting, allowing you to cover more area and add intricate details with ease. The needles are robust and durable, standing up well to repetitive use. Plus, the design allows for quick and easy needle replacement if needed. One of the standout features of this felting tool is the comfort it provides. The pen style grip reduces hand fatigue, which is a common issue with traditional felting tools, especially during extended felting sessions. This makes it ideal for both beginners and seasoned felters looking to add a reliable tool to their arsenal.

If you're buying this tool, you probably aren't relying on the instructions that come with it, so no harm done-- but I puzzled over "Stereoscopic work" for a few minutes before realizing that someone whose English was better than my Chinese did what I would have done: consulted the language dictionary for a translation for "3-Dimensional work"... and this has made me smile for a few days now.The tool is a nice plastic (not polystyrene as I feared)-- similar to my Clover pen; I have no preference for one or the other really, but these needles just aren't great; they seem too...crusty??? I'll be picking up some replacement needles when I get a chance; I'll need them anyway as I'm forever trying to punch at an awkward angle and snapping them. There is storage in the back end for extra needles; a nice touch.Disclaimer: I am an Amazon Vine reviewer but always review as though I'd paid full price for the item. As a substitute for the name brand that saves a few dollars, you may like this felting pen.
