This product is both good and bad. It's suitable for beginners. The tutorial is good, however, I decided to make mine a little different than the elephant pictured and cute it up a bit. The wool is easy to work with, even as a first-timer. I did get frustrated because towards the end both of the needles broke, so I never did end up finishing.

I had never tried felting before, never even heard of it to be honest. But I saw this kit when vine and really wanted to make that cute little elephant. All of the materials needed were included. I watched some extra videos online to help me get to hang out things because I find that to be very helpful and registering new information in my brain. But this is a great kit for people who've never had any experience with felting. The price seems fair to me. This would be fun for kids and adults to try together. I'm still trying to finish and work on perfecting my little elephant buddy, but so far I'm happy with how it's coming along. Would buy other felting kits from this place again.

Needle felting is a great fun thing to try for any age and this company has sets that include all the necessary pieces no need to buy separate wool or needles. There is a QR code that takes you to some education on needle felting. Needle felting is fun easy and you do need a protective surface. It takes time but any craft are will. I suggest everyone to give needle felting a try you might be surprised how addicting in can become’

Nice quality wool. We’ve never done wool felting before but this was fairly easy. As always, I watch a bunch of videos on YouTube, not just the ones the company provides. It was a success. My teenage daughter definitely needed help with it though. You have to tightly roll the initial ball for the body as tightly as you can, pro tip.

I've never felted before but always wanted to. This is a super cute kit and at the end of it you walk away with a cute but slightly misshapen elephant. The printed instructions are easy to read and understand with pictures to help along the way. There's also a QR code included if you would rather see the tutorial online. I LOVE that they offer both! I'm much better at looking at something that I'm holding than a video and too often you see companies just including QR codes to access the instructions to save on money. Not only does it have instructions, but they're GOOD instructions. I'll be keeping an eye out for more kits by this company. The kit is really well done.

This needle felting kit is a good option for an intermediate crafter that is looking for a beginner intro to needle felting. This project is a bit too difficult for a pre-teen/teenager to start without adult assistance but once you get them going it's easy to manage. The quality of the felting material is good for the price and the instructions are pretty clear. There is an option to get the instructions by video or traditionally on paper. Overall I was quite pleased with the kit and find it a fun way to pass time.

This is not a real extensive kit as far as tools, but it is a good basic kit to see if you are even interested in the craft. I actually got this for my granddaughter to try on her visits. She typically likes all kinds of crafts so I figured we would give needle felting a shot. She isn't really that interested but it is better to find out with one of these little kits instead of spending a fortune on stuff she will not use.
