You may find something cheaper, but nothing that fits as well or holds up as well under heavy usage. Quality replacement part for a quality sharpening system.

wears out to fast which might be how they want it so you keep coming back. I try not to use this to sharpen to often its better to sharpen by hand. You get more intimate with your tools (Get your head out of the gutter) lol

I'm actually very happy with these grinding belts. The beef I have is that I had to order 3 times before I got a set that had the correct belt assortment. The first 2 sets I ordered did not cone with the medium belt, but had 2 course belts instead.

I love my Ken onion Work Sharp and use it often to sharpen knives and even a couple of swords. The system is simple to use but precise.My one concern had been the quality of the abrasive belts. I use thes fairly often and wondered how frequently I would have to replace them. The answer is, not very frequently at all. I can get at least a dozen blades sharpened before I notice any reduction in abrasion, and several more blades sharpened after that before I have to replace them.All in all, very effective and long lasting.
