I needed linesman pliers for doing various tasks around the house including wiring. Price was a factor, as I am retired. You can spend more for better pliers, but I am not using these everyday, so they me. They appear to be well made and the grips are pretty comfortable. The side cutters perform as they should and the pliers grip well. I do not believe they are insulated for work around electricity and it would be nice if there was a spring between the jars to help open then. For mine or those with similar needs, I would purchase again.
