I have a corded electric pole saw but the cord is annoying. This was a little slower than the corded one but way more convenient. It worked very well. I like that the battery charges with a standard USB c cable. Cuts worked well. It is fairly light weight. I liked the angle feature. It was easy to extend it and the strap is nice to have. I wish the battery had an indicator to tell how much charge is left. Other than that, I thought this was great.

This works well for pruning, saving labor and minimizing "ladder time". Overall construction is good. Theres a cam lever lock to set the desired pole length. Fully retracted it's 80 inches long overall with a center of gravity 34 inches from the tip of the saw. Extending the pole requires unlocking a cam-lever and then pulling the telescoping saw head end out against an internal spring tension. Thus extended it's 111 inches in overall length with the center of gravity (or horizontal balance point) at 47 inches from the saw tip. There's a significant saw end weight, bias as the tool is 7.8 pounds total, ready to use. That weight at the saw end can make the tool feel bit unwieldy if the saw's pole angle is more than the 30 degrees off the vertical maximum that's the recommended limit in the instructions.Exterior construction is plastic housings, anodized aluminum pole, and a long foam grip for the offhand - (this is for sure a two-hands needed tool). The saw head has a push button release for adjusting the saw head angle. There's chain bar oil reservoir for the automatic chain oiler (no bar oil included), so oil should be added before use. The instructions recommend adjusting the chain a little tighter than is often recommended for other chain saws. There's a small flaw in my example, not sure if they all work this way. When retracting the pole, it often stops about a foot shy of being completely collapsed to minimum length. Backing the pole out an inch or so and rotating the saw in the horizontal plane seems to "unlock" it and allow it to fully retract. I'm assuming this must have something to do with the internal wiring management system that connects battery to motor and probably accounts for the added spring tension when extending the tool.
