Missing a wholes welded on support bar on the right side of the bike they do not sit the same distance off the bike looks like it was already bent upAnd the spacer were not correct size

If the correct $5.00 worth of hardware was correct, I'd give a 5 star rating. But as it comes, I only give it a 1 star rating.The included spacers are too thick and two of the include bolts have the wrong thread pitch.I will overcome this with some trouble, but one shouldn't have too. I almost just returned the item, but instead will modify the spacers and purchase the correct bolts instead. Could be a good product.The Crash bar assembled clearance is 74mm.Width of frame and included 12mm spacers is 89mm.If the spacers were 5mm instead of 12mm the widths of the frame and spacers would equal 75mm.The 10 x 55mm bolt has a thread pitch of 1.5mm, when it should have a pitch of 1.25mm

Installed on 2022 KLR................ fit and finish exceptional.This skid plate 2mm thick. I would like to see one a bit thicker (5-6mm), but to what end?You take 4 X 6mm bolts out of your existing tupperware with the tin brackets and install the new skid plate with 4 X 6mm bolts using the very same crappy tin brackets.Are you catching my drift here? Without re-thinking/changing the mounting system anything you do here is of limited value.

I like the skid plate, it was much nicer than my broken stock plastic one… I’m not a fan of how the bolt holes don’t align. It is more sturdy and effective with 3 bolts than my broken one so I committed to this product and drilled a new hole..

comes with no instructions and one bar in the front sticks out further than the other one , its made different therefore it looks uneven from the front

Great skid plate but had to glue some rubber on 3 spots where it touched the frame of my 2018 KLR to delete vibration sounds.

Plate looked like it was going to line up but it would not fit with the OEM crash bars I got at the dealer. The bottom bolts for the crash bars were in the way.Solution, I eventually marked where they were hitting and used a hole saw on my drill press to make allowance for the crash bar bolts.After that I found that the plate bolts were not long enough so I got longer ones. Then I found that the plate hit the frame and the crash bar bracket before the bolts tightened against the spacers they provides with the hardware.Solution, I found that if I used both of the spacers on one side it tightened up and left about 1/8” space between frame, crash bar bracket and the skid plate. Since I had used both spacers on one side, for the other side I taped several flat washers together the same thickness so I was only dealing with lining up one item besides the bolt and the plate.I did not have to bend anything as others have mentioned in their reviews.Hope this helps the next guy.

All-in-all, not pleased.I bought this product for my ‘09 Kawasaki KLR 650.Reasons not to buy from this seller:1) Delivery was so late I activated my Amazon refund procedure. The company lied three times about new delivery dates. Then, the seller offered me a 10% discount and begged me to cancel the Amazon refund policy (which I did). I never rec’d my 10% discount.2) One of the mounting holes on the skid plate did not properly line up with the factory hole.3) No mounting instructions included with my order. I figured it out (hopefully)!Numbers 2 & 3 above turned a 20-minute job (at worst) into a 90-minute job!Buy from these folks at your own risk!
