My only regret is I didn't buy it sooner!

After years of using gas mowers I tried an electric one that I borrowed. Not bad but dragging a cord around was time consuming. Decided to get a cordless which is way better.

I've used several worx tools, was an easy choice for me. All of their tools have worked great. Runs for 40 minutes in heavy grass, cuts as good as my gas mower. Lighter and easier to push, quiet, easy, 1 lever to change hight. Push button start.

This mower is light and easy to push. We have a large city yard that takes about 45 minutes to mow. We can mow 95 percent of it on one battery charge. We probably just need to walk faster! It starts easily and seems pretty sturdy.

I really like this mower: it's efficient, quiet and relatively lightweight. The battery life could use some improvement, it lasts long enough to mow my 900sqft front yard but then the batteries have to be recharged before I can mow my back yard, although the fact that the batteries only take two hours to recharge helps somewhat to mitigate this inefficiency.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this mower as I honestly never thought I’d buy an electric one. However our Craftsman died earlier this year so I decide to give this one a shot since we’d had great success with other Worx products (their weed eater and blowers impressed me over the last few years). The set up was super simple and took just a few minutes. The batteries also did not take long to charge, so I’m assuming they were already partially charge. Start up is super simple (though it does feel a little backwards as you have to push the key over and then hold down the bar, instead of the normal bar first process). The biggest surprise was how quiet the unit is. It’s definitely quieter than the Worx weed eater and a huge difference over a traditional mower. Battery time, which was my biggest concern, turned out to be fine. At about 30 minutes the battery bar dropped to 1 light and you could feel the mower drop a little in terms of power, but it still cut fine and was still going 20 minutes later when I finished, so I don’t have much concern there for the future. Plus it also runs fine on my other Worx batteries, which I already have multiples of. I decided to try the smaller 20v Share batteries we have just to see and it worked with zero issue. The mower was very easy to maneuver and being lighter than a normal mower glides much easier. So far I’ve only used the mulching mode, but it cut very good and on the same level as a gas mower. My only complaint is once you turn the mower off, it does drop debris so I’m not sure the mulching was as good as our old mower. If weather stays nice (it’s currently above average temps in November here in Kentucky) I’ll try it out with the shoot attached as well.I also want to note that I bought this unit from Amazon Resale (formerly Amazon Warehouse). It was listed in “acceptable” condition. I was more than surprised when I opened up the plain, brown box and found what looked to be a good as new mower. I was expecting some type of damage like scratched or blemishes, but outside of some green grass coloring on the underside with the blade, it looked like I’d just taken it out of a Worx box from the store.

The Worx Nitro 40V is super quiet compared to my old gas mower - no ear protection necessary. I opted for the push model because I wanted all of the battery power directed at the blade, not the wheels, in hopes that would increase the run time.Worx made some smart compromises on materials (metal deck and handle, and the rest mostly plastic) to keep the weight down. The single lever height adjustment is a nice feature. At only about 50 lbs (35 lbs less than my old gas mower) it is easy to push and not a problem on the hills in my yard. I’ve only had it a few months, so it remains to be seen whether the material choices affect durability. It cuts very evenly and can handle both our thick Zoysia grass and the more traditional Kentucky blue. It can handle tall/thick stuff, BUT tall grass will drastically affect the battery. I typically get maybe 45 minutes on a single charge during a regular weekly cut. Way less if I let the grass get tall or run over a bunch of sticks or leaves. I have 1.5 AH Worx batteries for a trimmer, but those only add another 10-15 min of cutting. It takes 2hrs or so of charging to get another 30 min or so from the batteries. So consider a second set of the bigger 5AH batteries if your yard is much over 1/3 acre.Where the Worx Nitro 40V comes up particularly short is in bagging and mulching. For mulching, while it cuts the grass very cleanly, the clippings are not small enough to effectively mulch and avoid thatch, unless you are mowing more than once a week. When bagging, it just doesn’t create enough suction to pick-up all of the grass. Bagging also seems to sap the batteries a little faster. If you normally just side discharge or don’t care about a little grass thatch, then this won’t be an issue for you. On the plus side, neither me nor my yard smell like gasoline when I’m done, and the yard still looks just as good (if I finish by using a blower) as it always did.

I didn't like the maintenance with our gas mower so we switched to electric and purchased the WORX Nitro WG751.3 40V Power Share 20” Push Lawn Mower. We have owned the mower since March this year and have used it several times (8 plus times). Assembly was easy, if you can even call it assembly. This comes put together in the delivery box. The mower is very lightweight. There is no drive so having a lightweight mower like this one is nice. I have a relatively large front yard (bermuda) and a smaller backyard (fescue). The mower does not last the entire yard on 2 20v batteries, we have to switch the batteries roughly 3/4 of the way through the entire yard. All in all it takes me roughly 1.5 hours to cut and bag the front and backyard. I have to switch batteries after roughly an hour. I try to cut every 2 weeks but recently we had to postpone that schedule. The grass was a bit longer in the front and we likely took off between 1-1.5 inches. The battery did not last a full hour but instead lasted about 45 minutes. We purchase another charging station and 2 additional 20v batteries so we can swap easily and keep going. If you have a larger yard or cut infrequently, I would recommend this.I also have the WORX WG186 40V Nitro Power Share Cordless Attachment-Capable Driveshare 15" String Trimmer and love how the batteries are interchangeable.Put away is awesome with this mower. It folds up very easily.I have cut without bagging and the discharge works as expected. I think this mower does have a great cut.Very pleased and would recommend to anyone looking to ditch their gas mower.
