Although most of the reviews were good, I was nervous to buy a $22 looper. I’m glad I bought this- I put it through the ringer today, about 3-4 hours of use- cutting through vines and thick branches/limbs. This cut through pretty much everything with ease. It’s scratched up but I knew that would happen with all the cutting I was doing. Definitely worth the price to me.

It works great. It can cut thicker branches with ease. Seems very sturdy and comfortable.

Jaws could open wider, but design needed to get good leverage. Reasonable trade-off. I'm keeping these.

I do all our trimming and pruning and normally use either hedge trimmers or hand held pruners. I've always wanted one with the longer handle so I can reach up and get higher branches or branches that are inside hedges without reaching my hand in or bending branches to get them in a good position to cut.I thought this was a good value. The only thing I wish is that the handle grips were more formed to make them easy to grip instead of just straight out from the cutter. The whole thing to me is a little bulkier than necessary. It is light weight and maybe it has to be that thick to allow for the light material it's made from. Still I think the grips being shaped for the hand would be preferable. I doubt I will be using this a lot. I will mostly use this for just a few cuts up high or in deep so it will suffice. The blade was sharp and cut the branches I tried it on easily. It says you can sharpen the blade as needed so that is also a positive. Thanks for reading my review
