Perfect for seniors and all folks for small tree branches. Cuts clean and makes the job easier. Have a mini-chain saw, but this a breeze compared to it - no oil or messy clean-up. Very happy with this product. PS I am a 81 year old woman. Thank you WORX!!

First, the ergonomics are great. I purchased and returned 2 other saws and they were awful to hold and try to cut with. This little saw has great features. The Worx batteries seem pretty good, but with an adapter, I can use my Milwaukee M18 batteries with it, make a great too even better. I’m using it for cutting vinyl plank flooring. It’s perfect. Has an attachment for a small shop vac. Now I’m working in the room, instead of going outside . Extremely happy with this tool.

This bad boy is small but can really cut wood. It cuts all kindsa wood. I find that helpful when I want to change the size of a board. It has a little guide so that my cuts don’t look like they were created by someone with their eyes closed. I really like it.

[I did not buy the battery, only the saw] If I had not already been using a newer Worx trimmer with the PowerShare battery, I might not have even tried this circular saw - I would have doubted that the battery will last more than a few cuts. But the battery that came with my trimmer has an incredible use and shelf life between charges, I mean really incredible. I can trim my entire back yard every weekend for 3 months between charges. Anyway, back to the circular saw. So I thought why not try the saw and if it uses up the battery so much that I have to charge often, I'll just send it back. Well I'm really impressed. I made a bunch of cuts of 1x4 (easy of course) and then 2x4 and it hardly even brought the battery down a click (the LED status). Nice, clean cuts.The only problem was that there seemed to be something catching as I'm gliding over the board while I'm cutting. And that throws you off the straight line, so that sucks. I turned it over and I could feel a very small bit of metal sticking up, which was the culprit. I just took a very fine metal file and filed it off. No problem at all, and now it glides smooth as silk. All in all, I really like this saw and would recommend it. Especially the battery sharing and battery life.

I really liked the saw, but the electric safety brake would kick in unexpectedly while sawing, then finally it kicked in permanently after just a few months of light use, all I get is a flashing LED whenever I try to start the saw - battery is fully charged.

Light, maneuverable,and has plenty of power to do the job. Note that this model is the "Nitro" model which has a brushless motor that produces more power. It easily cuts fir 2X4s and plywood. Old (pre 1970 ) 2x4s are thicker than the current standard and it's 1/8" shy of cutting them on one pass. So is every other brand of this style saw, I think. I have used it on some gates and fences. I use the 4 Ah battery and it is still light enough to use with one hand while standing on a ladder. I have even used it inverted. You can do many things easily that you cannot do with other saws. Once you use this saw your jigsaw will be relegated to cutting curves and nothing else. Go ahead and put a top quality blade on it like a Diablo. The tool is a pleasure to work with And it deserves it.

Incredible saw that has changed my opinion of battery-operated circular saws! I built an entire set of bookshelves with it and never had to charge the battery back up. Love the light weight and maneuverability! Best part--with a couple of extra batteries you can take it anywhere. Thanks Worx!!

This saw is great for smaller projects and outdoors since it runs on battery. Cuts great and holds a decent charge. I was disappointed with how it came shipped. I think it was someone's return that got sent to me and was not in its original packaging. It was also missing the wrench to secure and tighten the blade. Good thing I had one laying around in my workshop.
