Easy to install but in less then one year they are both burnt out. Is there any way to get the money back>?

This replacement light module works great and fixes the problem of the dim frig lights. They are wired together so when one module goes bad, it dims and or flashes the rest of them. Unfortunately, I have replaced this twice with this same module. I dont know if its the frig or just the light so I can't 100% blame this light.....yet. Hopefully I just got a dud and this one will last longer then 3 weeks..

Update to my review below: While this was an easy replacement and worked, it only lasted just over 3 months. I would avoid this and look for a different brandThis was an easy replacement for our flickering light in our refrigerator. Hopefully it lasts a while!

It's amazing how much people can pay to repair a flickering or flashing interior fridge light. I have a 3 year old GE Cafe where one light went bad already. Although you can buy the snap-in unit with the light board, you pay half as much for this board alone with minimal extra effort. Use a small flat blade from the front to pop out the light assembly. Unplug it. The light board is held in by a clip. Pull back the larger side of the clip and rotate the board out. Put the edge of the board under the fixed clip and snap it back in. Plug it back in. Snap the light assembly back in. Fixed! (Easy to find videos online.)

Looked like a cheap and easy way to fix a problem that GE refuses to acknowledge., however, it only lasted 4 months. Will look for a different and hopefully longer lasting replacement

After reading about what do to do fix dimm/or non flashing LED's in the fridge I looked up the cost on an oem piece. $80.00 not including shipping or taxes. Add a technician to replace it and your in the $200.00 range. Then through a fellow DIYer found this unit and what it takes to change it. It is no harder than changing the batteries in a remote control. We'll see the reliability and how long it lasts but its going to have to be replaced 10+ times to be more expensive than calling the "maytag man." Be your own warrantee!

A spotlight bulb in my GE fridge was flickering. After a few days the entire refrigerator portion was barely lit. After some research I found that GE wanted $40 for the replacement cover and LED/driver. The article also pointed me here. Popped the old one out, installed the new one and everything worked perfectly. I think $19 for the LED and driver was a bit high but compared to $40 or likely $200+ to have a repairman come in and change it was very palatable. There are videos on how to pop out the cover and then remove the driver/led circuit board. Total time to repair was 5 minutes.
