Installation of the brackets and other parts was super easy. The mirror was easy to adjust and was very stable. The way all of the mounts lock down once mirror was aimed, prevented any shifting.The mirror is super stable while sitting at idle or going down the road, I was surprised and impressed since door off mirrors vibrate notoriously.My only concern, is not losing the bracket screws when putting doors back on. Some door off mirrors have large thumb screw to attach mirrors, but then i would be dealing with vibration. I found a plastic tub, lined with towels to protect the mirrors as well as storing the tools and little screws.Removal of the Jeep factory body screws requires a lot of heat to soften the locktite. I used a tiny butane torch pointed close in on the screw, pulled back just before paint started to change color. I was able to quickly remove the factory screws at that point. I felt this was worth sharing since I struggled until I got this advice from others (Jeep issue, not this product).

Love these! What is great about these is the bracket for mounting can stay the jeep! We do have some modifications that caused interferance with the door opening possibley wouldnt be an issue on other jeeps? We decided to mount the bracket up on the higher bolt where its is very firmly attached using just one bolt actually. If at some point that changes i think double stick tape and one bolt would be fine to hold it. The multi piece design and quick removal of the attachment while retaining the mounting bracket really reduces wear and tear of the threading in the jeep bolts holes -we already had issues with some of these bolts & had to rethread so the constant removal of the other mirrors was proving to be an issue. Although we like them they required a bit more hassle and possible further damage. Since the bolts your using to mount most of these door off mirrors are part of the jeep front wind shield assembly its kind of a big deal and the reduced need to mess with them is really beneficial! This kit comes with nice elongated tools to aid in assembly and adjustment- nicer than the standard small stuff you normally get included! The mirror is a bit bigger than our first set as well. I feelThese are an upgrade from the first set we have! The brackets that stay on the jeep are not imposing and totally acceptable as terms of the looks etc. The description pictures included in the listing showing the retained bracket are very accurate and depict the product very well. Very happy with these. Excellent upgrade! Thexl fold in feature was something you may not think of till your out on the trail the first time with mirrors!! This is another point though that puts these over the top in comparison to many door off mirrors. These check alot of boxes! I do recommend!
