Every little bit counts and helps.Wrist and ankle weights add to your workouts, advancing your muscle building exercisesJust like resistance bands aid in muscle building, ankle or wrist weights help with the same thing, isolating muscles and allowing you to target them more effectively.

After a leg injury, I find these weights great for building strength. My physical therapist has strapped me into 2lb weights around my ankle, but the 1lb weights work well for me at home. The first time I used this item it felt a bit too tight around my ankle. All you have to do is stretch the band/weights for a comfortable fit, as shown in the display ad.I would suggest only as a gift for someone close to you.

These are the first ankle/wrist weights I've used, so it's hard to know how much of my review is just my sense of the product type overall. You can definitely feel the weight, even though it doesn't sound like it'd be that much extra, but it doesn't get in the way or impede movement. At first it seemed like it kept slipping down my ankle and wouldn't stay still, but it seems like that problem's resolved itself now. I went for a walk and these didn't stop me or slow me down much. Overall, these seem like pretty good ankle weights, and a nice addition to your everyday exercise routine.

I got these for my wife. She works from home and is worried about not getting enough physical activity. I got her one of those under the desk treadmills and these to wear with it. I was a little concerned, but 1lb is heavier than it sounds lol. They fit nicely on her legs but also fit around her wrists too.

They are not too long for my wrists or ankles and they are 1 pound each (some of them are only 0.33 lb). Good for my physical therapy exercise use.

There ankle weights were what I expected. They are easy to put on and take off and allow me to do some PT exercises. My only negative is that I have 'beefy' ankles and so these are snug, but they are not too tight, but I only wear them for a few minutes.

What is two 1 lbs ankle weights? Well, it is more than I expected. In itself it doesn't seem that much but when I put them on for my 4.2 mile walk around the lake here I really do feel it. It truly makes it even more of a workout! It seems to strengthen my ankles and my calfs, but do count of it feeling sore after the first couple of walks.

Great for strengthening legs and focusing on balance. Great for neighborhood walks.
