Exactly as pictured and exactly what I needed. It’s solid and holds my damper closed well. It’s a simple mat black finish so it almost disappears from sight against my black firebox. Hangs down far enough not to be missed when going to start a fire. Superb!!

There is really not much one can say about a piece of wrought iron except it looks nice and does a good job of opening and closing our flue.
