Once locked, it reacts very promptly, which, initially, startled me a few times. It didn't allow me enough time to walk away, leading to some unexpected reactions. However, once you get used to it and find the right rhythm, the alarm proves to be a reliable and effective antitheft measure. Probably it's not super useful when you lock your bike in a busy area because it might startle others who didn't have any negative intentions. The rechargeable feature is convenient, and the overall build is waterproof, so it is durable during various weather conditions. It's a nice addition to bike security and as a tail light, but be prepared for a brief adjustment period to the sensitivity.

The WSDCAM Smart Bike Tail Light was well shipped in a small box. It comes with everything required for mounting on a tube, or anywhere the device can be attached with zip ties. It needs to be charged before first use and to read the manual for customization as the later might not be easily done intuitively.Mounting the device is fairly easy and I used the zip ties to attach it to the rear basket on my bike. The remote is very light and provides blue light feedback when pressing buttons or changing settings but it is not easy to know what the light indicates other than a button has been pressed. The manual is helpful for clarifying this and how to set up the alarm, horn or light by using the remote control. The alarm can be set up with seven levels of sensitivity that are indicated by the musical scale Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti with the highest musical note indicating the lowest sensitivity for the alarm. The horn has three types of sounds with three levels of loudness but none which I found to be a pleasant way to notify pedestrians. The sounds are more like that of an alarm or high pitch scooter horn.The product is fairly light and relatively small so it's hard to expect it to be as loud. This may be advantageous for its alarm function as the inconspicuous size could be hard to immediately identify as the source for the ear-piercing sound. The alarm loudness can also attract a lot of attention and discourage unplanned thefts. On the other hand, it could be easily removed with pliers or broken-off by force.The device really shines for me when it comes to its lighting feature. The light has a “breathing” (gradual on and off blinking) setting that I found to be a pleasant way to alert others like a bright red firefly. Moreover, the breathing and the slow blinking light option prolong battery life by activating in low light conditions and stopping after 30 seconds of inactivity. The device also has a fast blinking and continuous light which needs to be activated and deactivated manually with a button on the device or with the remote control. I found the smart light feature to offer not only a pleasant signal option, but also be an effective stop sign because it lights up for 2 seconds when braking (then returns to its previous state). This last feature works reliably and the light is bright enough to be seen in different weather conditions. Definitely an added peace of mind for day, night or rainy rides with its IP65 water resistance.Overall, it is the best rear light I have had for my bike with an effectively loud alarm and horn. I am hoping it will last and perhaps, the relatively higher price point is indicative of its durability.

Ive been testing out this bike for the past few weeks and here are some first impressions:- All in one system: has a brake sensor, different light options, comes with a remote to locate your bike, alarm system to deter thieves, comes with a horn to use while biking,- The instruction manual is fairly straightforward in demonstrating how to use this bike accessory and how to adjust settings to your personal preference.- The battery life is impressive in how long it lasts considering everything it does.-The waterproof design allows you to use the device in wet weather/unfavourable weather conditions.-Auto on/off feature that makes it easy to use but also saves you to manually click a button. This helps to preserve the battery life.-Relatively affordable device for everything included. Definitely a bonus for avid bikers!- Lastly, it’s rechargeable via USB-C which prevents needing to buy some fancy battery.Only downside is maybe the loudness of the horn if choosing to use it. Although it can be modified, it would’ve sufficed with the regular ding sound :)I’ll update with time if any concerns or new tips come up :)Would recommend.

The remote control also paired instantly with the taillight and was very convenient to use.The WSDCAM smart bike taillight offers a variety of useful features. Not sure how to change the settings since there was no manual in the box or QR code to find it online

I purchased it a few months ago and the switch button on the unit stop responding (not working) I tried to get help from the seller but, not answer what so ever.I ordered a second one and the handle bar switch is not synchronized with the unit so, I sent it back for a replacement which came with the same issue.I'll order it again hoping to have better luck.

Easy to install. Easy to follow instructions. Bright light. I like remote features.
