One thing I love about Sony receivers is there ease of setup and calibration. This microphone worked perfectly as a replacement for the microphone that came with the receiver, but was left behind in a move. Sony's easy calibration with the microphone is so much easier than messing with Audysse and REW on one of my other receivers ... so easy in fact, I'll be replacing my Denon AVR with a newer Sony when the time comes ... Sony and their easy calibration simply works!! This microphone that I purchased as a replacement is highly recommended. BTW, great communication from the seller and extremely fast shipping as well, which is always appreciated.

Product worked with no issues for my Sony STR-DN1080 which needs a stereo calibration mic for the automatic settings to work, settings sound good. A mono mic which I tried will not work or if it does the auto settings sound terrible. Just wish it was a lot cheaper for what it was.
