The physical aspects of this collectors edition are decent. However the game itself is worth very little nowadays. Not only does it have an abysmal reputation but the online servers have long-since been shut down and all trace of the game removed from the PlayStation store. In addition to tarnishing your value and experience of playing the game and accessing all of its features it also renders all DLC content impossible to access.Paying for this collectors edition will get you the base game and the psychical content ONLY. The dlc content is gone forever. All in all the small scraps of wrestling souvenirs fail to make up the value of the product alone.

Lots of nice additions for this edition. The extra stuff is pretty cool.I know a lot of people don't like game itself but everything works great for us...except the online play is still dicey. That said, there is tons of other stuff to do to occupy our time and they keep dropping new content which is nice. Overall, it's a good game.

I've been a fan of the WWE games going all the way back to WWF Smackdown on the PlayStation 1. The first few games in the series were really something special for the time. As the years have passed, these games have always had good and bad. But most of the bad could be overlooked because it always had really strong gameplay. Since this was going to be the 20th anniversary for the series I care about most in video games, I decided to purchase the anniversary edition. After all, I'm an old fan who is quite nostalgic. The box and its contents are nice but the game itself is, as I'm sure you've all heard, a buggy mess. Even after a massive patch, issues still abound. There are glimpses here of what could have been a great game but with all of its combined issues, it's just a horrific mess. What should have been a nice tribute to the 20 year long running series is an absolute abomination. Never in all my years of playing this franchise have I encountered so many problems. 2K should be ashamed of themselves for releasing (and as of this review, not fixing) this garbage.

I had a lot of fun with WWE 2k19. This year however, the game has so many glitches it’s almost impossible to play at all. Here’s why..-hair physics suck. Hair does not move or look like last year and last year was not great. Hair with new attires or with championships added to a superstar creates a glitch where the hair is 3 ft above characters head.-game has crashed on my countless times every time I play.-graphics are less than ideal..especially compared to previous versions.-downloading CAWs from community creations was a huge part of last years game for me. Downloading the AEW roster and some other left out stars or different attires was awesome. This year you can do that but you won’t get the images that go with them. Those don’t download.-mycareer looks to have taken a step forward in that the story is engaging and semi fun to play through. It took 10 steps backward with graphics and textures as that part of the game looks the absolute worst and looks equal to ps2 versions if not worse sometimes.-weapons glitching into parts of the ring and superstars teleporting all over the place does not help either.-The Fiend and the Bump in the Night pack is received with this version but you won’t be able to access it until Oct. 28 when 2K20 Originals goes live. That part is minor in my opinion but it may be a problem for others.I have not had any issues with the hit mechanics. I believe you just have to be good at the game to do well in that area. The game in a lot of ways has so much potential but without many, many patches it won’t come close to reaching its full potential. My biggest worry is 2K will scrap this years game and not fix many of its glaring problems. This receives a 2 star review as I did get all my pre-order bonuses and they work fine but the game itself is at its lowest point this year. Some serious work needs to be put in starting now.

If you look at the pictures I posted you can see the graphics are sub-par. To make it worst they changed some controls around and now I have to remember to reverse with triangle instead of R2 and the finisher with X+sqaure instead of triangle. (Lost my first match because I kept getting confused.I gave it 3 stars only because the autograph picture of edge is cool (even though I was hoping for Kurt angle) and the weird tiny square of ring curtain (1 out of 30,000).Also shipping was fast but only the box came damaged which is a bummer because I wanted to save it.The worst part is “the fiend” is NO WHERE To be found in this game.. before I started my first match his face flashed but the actual character is unavailable... I kinda want to give it one star just for that.. it’s bad enough Becky is on the cover. I will update as I dive into career mode (my player).

They had so good ideas with some of the modes, but this game is broken and filled with glitches. Not worth the money. Only good thing was the extras other than that I would return the game.
