LOWER STATIC ELONGATION: Static elongation measures how much a rope stretches with a 176 lb weight tied to one end. A good percentage is right around 7 percent. Higher static elongation generally indicates less efficiency because energy is wasted through rope stretch.

Awesome rope for the price. I use this rope to pull points in arenas. It has a good hand. With that said I would use this rope to repel on. Think twice about using this rope to climb with.
