This is a cheap case. I have a size XXL and when I put a rubber shoe on my drum I could no longer get it in the case. The material self distructs. This is my third one, I usually give them away when I sell a drum. The one I have now is already shredding on the bottom just from being placed on cement while I get my drum out. It has minimal padding and doesn’t offer much protection. I like that it is light and I can just roll it up when I get somewhere and not have to get it it’s own seat. It is OK for a cheaper drum that you want to cover in your house and go from your car to a party. It won’t hold up to rough use. If you have a beater drum you just want to put in your trunk till you arrive it will protect the head. The straps, stitching and especially the fabric are cheap.

This bag was given to me. Are used it a couple of times and the bag actually ripped. My DJEMBE came crashing to the ground. It is a good thing it was not damaged. Stay away from this product. It’s garbage.

The bag itself and colors are gorgeous and very bright. Unfortunatly the bag ripped. I ordered the largest bag they have and they confirmed my measurements. The bag was so tight it took force to get drum in and out. After 4 uses the bag ripped.

UPDATE: After 3mo of weekly usage to/from class, this bag has started to rip on the inside in two places. One, I may be able to patch, but one is near the inside where a strap connects. My djembe is 22lbs and I haven't been overly rough with the bag at all. I'm bummed; don't think this product that I originally loved will even last 1yr. Reducing a couple stars.------Original review:. Great, well made bag that fits my djembe with room to spare (but not enough room to flop around because the middle is naturally cinched). Attractive. Great padding. Seems like water resistant inner lining. Adjustable straps. Lined, Velcro front pocket for rings or keys. My djembe is ~14.5"x24.5" all-in. I tried another bag previously that didn't fit at all and had much less padding. Very glad I found this instead. I got it on deep, deep sale; price has now almost doubled - but it's honestly still worth the price.Note: Product name and item number reflect the true XXL size (despite referring to the L size in product details). You can find precise size info on the X8 website.
