I haven't used this yet, but I'm pretty sure it will protect my scanner. Why, you might ask? Well, the package was delivered yesterday in my carport. It's been a long time since my 2 70lb dogs have bothered a package, but evidently this one was too tempting to pass up. I found this in my yard this morning after my dogs had used it as a chew toy for a few hours. As you can see from the pics, there are imprints from teeth on both the inside and outside of the case, but no punctures thru the material. The zipper still works fine. I have to say I'm rather impressed and can't imagine any situation in my computer bag that will ever give this case more of a test than it has endured in the last 24hrs. Buy with confidence!!
