In search of a pin for pasta noodles. This is a great size for pie crusts but on the smaller side for noodles.

I'm so glad I bought this rolling pin. It's very sturdy and comfortable to use. I bought it to make Chinese Goyza. My dough rolled out nicely. The rolling pin is smooth and works great. I like that it has the measurements on the side. It's made well.

I bought this so I could roll out dumplings without the hassle of using my big one. I find I go to this one for everything. Dumplings, pastries, pizza dough. It's just the perfect size for so much

I bought this long rolling pin with the intention to make some noodles. While it took a bit for this rolling pin to arrive (since it was shipped from China), I’m thoroughly satisfied of its quality. As you can tell from the photos, this rolling pin serves its purpose very well. It was my very first time making handmade noodles from a dough so my technique needed some improvement. I’m sure with a rolling pin this long, I’ll be able to make thinner and tender noodles with more practice.

I didn't know I needed this small thing in my kitchen. But since we often make dumplings in batches, I am sure we gonna use this now on.Very light but durable and comfortable to roll

I don't really get the negative reviews over the pin being "too" small, it's exactly the size I expected to get. Maybe they didn't check the posted measurements against a ruler?I decided to get a small rolling pin for making gyoza and bao, and this fits my needs precisely. The 9ish" pin is for small bakes or small hands, I wouldn't use it for a full-size pie or rolling out a whole sheet of cookie dough. You would need to get at least the 14" or an even bigger one on a different listing.

It was a much better size for me to work dough on my small counter space. I wish the surface was a little smoother, but I fixed that with a quick sanding and recleaning. Quite happy with it!

Unlike traditional rolling pins, this design is easier to control. It also allows for more versatility as you can use it for typical baking tasks like rolling out dough and cookies, but I purchased this specifically to use to make dumplings and pasta! Dumplings sometimes require the edges to be thinner, which is difficult to do with a regular rolling pin. However, this works nicely for that. I think the built-in ruler is meant for measuring width, but personally, it would be more helpful for me if this had smaller increments lined up at the very end so it could also be used to measure depth. My partner is a professional chef and prefers this to his old rolling pin, but I'd also recommend it for amateur cooks like myself. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality and versatility of this rolling pin!
