RV awning that had a tear at the seam. I sewed it and wanted to reinforce with the tape but the tape lifted away from the material within a few days and the awning wasn’t extended out.

This tape is a bit hard to use but it does work. I wish it came in smaller amounts since I suspect I will never use more than the 10 inches I have already used.Having it as a peel and stick product would be easier to use but would probably be cost prohibitive.Overall I'm happy with the product.

This is what you need for repairing tents, awnings, BBQ covers, camper trailers, blow up paddle boards and more. And I have used this tape for every single purpose described above.Things to know:.1. A sharp pair of scissors (not just a Swiss army knife) makes all the difference.2. A second set of hands means one person can cut the tape and smooth out whatever you are aiming the tape to whereas the other person can hold the tape at both ends and apply it neatly. Trying to do it yourself will do the job but not be so neat. This will save your camping trip.

Unfortunately this was only a temporary fix as the tape has now lost its stickyness and peeling off the Awning.

I had purchased this product as well as another one that was specifically for tarps and freezing temperatures. I applied in -2 degrees Celsius. The other one did not stick, this one did! It's now -14 and it's holding up well! (I'll update this review in a few months to share how it held up over winter.)

This tape is easy to use, clear and will stick to the awning to repair small tears, wholes, and 'oops'.It is sturdy, sticky, and doesn't slide like other tapes we have used. It stands up to the wind, heat and rain!A MUST have for those repairs! We strongly recommend this tape! Don't be fooled by other brands!

The description and title for this product is misleading. This is not ripstop tape. It may stop a rip from getting worse but should not be called ripstop. This is simply a vinyl tape.Ripstop has interwoven reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern. This is done so that in case there is a puncture it will be stopped by the crosshatch threads. See the photo.I was disappointed to learn that I had just bought a roll of vinyl tape with no ripstop reinforcement. The title needs to be changed and words in the description as well.

I have used this in the past and purchased again. This works very well on vinyl awnings. Had a few areas that required some reinforcement and used this. The first application was over a year ago and it is still perfect. I have used this on other items to reinforce a seam and that is still holding well. I keep a roll of this in my travel trailer all the time. Very sticky, so be sure you are ready to place it where you want.

We were travelling and noticed a small area on our awning starting to peel off. When we arrived at our destination the area had grown to about 8 inches by 1 foot. I found the tape on-line and purchased it. The tape arrived on time. I applied it as instructed. The vendor provided me with a separate email to make sure I had the proper instructions for application. The tape went on easy. We drove over 600 miles with the awning taped. You can barely see the repair. The tape is holding strong, even in 110 degree weather we have been travelling in. I would definitely recommend the tape and vendor.
