Thought I was ordering something similar to Quick Snaps, these are much lighter and will have to be tested against a 4-5 lb fish.

I use these on my 8 weight fly line for bass and pike. Since those fish are not really leader - shy, I find these clips really convenient when I want to change flies. I've never had a problem with failure with these.

It can be quite difficult to tie on a fly, spinner or hook when standing waist deep in a stream or sitting in a rocking boat. By tying the clips on before hand, changing to another fly, spinner or bait is much quicker and easier. No photos, waiting for my new camera.
