Very good product and very strong. I was skeptical so as soon as it came in I tied about 20 flies. I was impressed.The way the thread is made it will not unwind and flatten so keep that in mind. However, for thread that is equivalent to 70D it is super strong and allows me to tie smaller patterns with little risk of breaking thread.I even have a terrible bobbin holder😞 that frays and cuts all my thread but it works on this thread. 😁Price point is really good and as long as your patterns don't need flattened thread wraps then this stuff is the ticket. I wish I would have purchased the larger assortment.I would recommend this product and will purchase again.

I've been tying for 15+ years and have just about every thread on the market. I wanted to give this a try for the heck of it. Wow, this is STRONG thread! It's a little slick...which I find to be a pleasure when whip finishing or creating any other style knots) so it may unravel slightly from the spool if not secured (but each spool comes with its own spool cap/thread keeper) or kept in a tying bobbin, but not a big deal at all. When dubbing with it, I just use dubbing wax, as I do with all threads when not splitting the thread to create a dubbing loop.The best part of this thread is it's strength to diameter ratio. Just unbelievable! I've even tied large streamers with this thread and really cinched down on it without a single break. And unlike Kevlar or 280D thread, my whip finished heads are as small as I want them to be. Colors are great too, and I would buy more in even more colors and sizes if they were available. Without a doubt, this has become my favorite thread to tie with and I highly recommended it. Btw - I am not associated with this company and haven't received any payments or free merchandise. Just wanted to pass along my excellent experience with this thread, particularly after being disappointed with several big name fly tying threads on the market.

I was very excited about the color variety of the thread. Out of the box, they look great! I tied a couple of flies and I noticed that the thread would become unraveled at the edges and it would get very tangled. Frustrating. I ended up having to pull about 10 meters of thread off of each spool and I'm still running into some problems with tangling. However, I give 3 stars because this thread is very strong and has not broken while tying. It wraps very well and it looks great on a fly.
