I purchased this pressure switch for my Porter Cable 6 gallon compressor. I did have to use one adapter from my old switch! And the old switch had slide on electrical wires and the new one had screws to hold wires! I had to order adapters from screws to slide on and then all was fine! I don’t know why they didn’t just add 4 adapters in the switch kit! I had to purchase a package of 25 and will probably never need them again! But I would recommend the switch! Works great.

It exceeded my expectations. I was about to buy another air compressor until I looked online and saw this product. It was an exact match to my old one that played out on me. Swapped out just the unit and everything else matched perfectly.

According to my cheap new gauge, it’s cutting out at 130 PSI, not at 135 as described. The cut-out pressure is supposedly factory set, but can be adjusted using a star/torx shaped Allen wrench if you have one. The cut-in pressure is easily adjustable using a slot screwdriver.Be sure to use sufficiently large gauge wire, make solid connections, and don’t draw more than the rated amps (24?) because many of the internal components are plastic, and if any wires or connections get hot they could melt and deform the plastic. Mine stays cool even at 240v/22amps

I bought a used compressor a few years back that I use for automotive repairs at home. One day I forgot to turn it off so my wife tried to turn it off. Needless to say, she broke the switch. I was still using it until one day the circuits fried.I couldn't think of where I would even find this part so I tried Amazon. I installed it today and it turned on right away with no problems.There was a tube with a flare nut I thought would have to be bent, but the piece had 2 screws I removed and I was able to rotate it 90° to make it fit.I'm so glad I found this piece.

This item fit on my poster cable air compressor. Only thing I had to charge the wiring ends which was no problem. Would buy again.

Not much to say I put this on my 25 gal Craftsman to replace a broken switch. It leaks like an 85 year olds bunghole. Junk.
