Nice alternative to using granular oil dry type products for petroleum oil leaks. The sock is made of strong material that won't easily rip or fall apart in use. It is also easy to form in, under and around all sorts of machinery and vehicles. And when they are full of oil they are a lot neater to pick up. They won't replace oil dry completely but they will reduce the need for it drastically.
