Personally I love it, looks better than the og and very durable and comfortable but it is a bit smaller than it should be and in my truck it don’t match the red but I would still recommend

High quality product with a nice feel and functionality compared to stock. Really like the way these illuminated vs stock and it's a much nicer experience

While decently built and functional the knobs allow for some light leakage along the edges at night.I've never really liked the original climate controls on the Tacoma. Why not knobs? So I was happy to come across these and give them a try.The built quality is decent. The knobs have good texturing along the edges to provide decent grip. It works especially well for the temp control compared to stock. Just has a better feel. However, the knobs are a touch too small and allow for light to come through from the back. Gives it a pretty cheap looks since all three knobs allow for different amounts of light to come through. If it was consistent then you might think it was designed that way. Nope. The left knob allows the most light through and the right knob the least. Not sure if I'm going to keep these on.

The knobs look nice and seem well made. I like the look shown in the catalog. They were easy to install. I changed one knob and then tried it in both daylight and at night. I found some concerns that led me to revert back to the original parts. When seated, these knobs provide less room for my fingers to grip than the originals. My fingers aren't all that big (m-l glove size), and the difference is noticeable. My opinion is the knobs need to be a bit deeper/taller to make the knob as easy to grab as the original.I can tell by feel where the original is pointed (e.g. the fan speed or the temperature), With the new knob, I didn't find it as easy to adjust by feel. In daylight, I found the little mark on the knob (the indicator) a bit harder to see than the original, which means I'll need to look at the controls a bit more when driving. This isn't the biggest of deals to me, but still, it shouldn't be an issue. At night, the knob lights up and the indicator is obvious. I like the circle of light design-wise as a look. Unfortunately, the knob doesn't cover the entire opening. As a result, there's a bit of light coming through the gap between the dial and the knob. Looking head-on, it's not so visible. But sitting in the driver's seat, whatever lights this control panel catches my eye and I find it really annoying. This was the deal breaker. I tried to get a picture of the glare, but couldn't quite capture it. But you can at least see where this is coming from in the picture of just the knob lit up.

These were an excellent upgrade both in terms of look and feel to the aging knobs on the old 2nd taco. Installation took less then 2 minutes and it works without any issues. Would definitely buy again at this price.

These are a super nice upgrade from the stock knobs on the Toyota Tacoma. Very easy to pull off the old ones and install these new ones. It only took about 2 minutes and half of that was opening the package. They fit nice and tight and can still feel the detents when you turn to different settings. The outside is rubber and it gives the knobs a grippy feel when turning. They sit just above the dash, maybe 1/4" or so but I am still able to reach down and turn them very easily.I definitely recommend for a quick, cost effective upgrade for your stock Tacoma temp knobs to give it a nicer look.

These knobs definitely gave my 2014 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport a more modern look. They don’t look or feel cheap. You can see in the photos that they have a nice knurled grip around the outside that feels nice and looks good. There were no obvious flaws or issues with them when observed off of the truck, straight out of the box. They are also very easy to install. To take off the OEM/factory ones, just get a good grip and pull them straight off. These new ones install just as easily. Pay attention to the orientation of the knob so you know how to slide the new ones on as they have a sort of D shaped hole that slides over the knob shaft of the same shape. I just turned all the OEM ones to the 12 o’clock, straight up position and then knew how to slide the new ones on.The main issue I had with these, as compared to the OEM knobs, is that when the lights are off, the position indicator on these are just a tiny clear dot that is not easily visible at a glance. So if you’re driving and glance down to see what the controls are set at during the day, it’s not easy. When the headlights are on, the little dots glow and it makes it a bit easier during the day and quite easy at night. The factory knobs have a larger clear arrow that is easily visible at a glance in light or dark.I also found that the knobs don’t protrude very much out of the cup in the dash that the sit in. This makes them, not hard, but a little less easy to grab and turn than the factory ones which have an easy to grab surface. This was not a deal breaker, just an observation and slight annoyance.I noticed that the knobs, especially in brighter light, are visibly quite a bit smaller than the opening that they fit in, so there is a gap around them where you can see the plastic behind them. If they made the knobs a little bit larger, they would easily still fit in the circle cutout but would not have a large, visible gap that gave me the impression of a less than precise fit.In the end, I decided to take them off primarily because of the difficulty seeing what position they are in during daytime driving. The nice, modern look wasn’t worth the trade off of not being able to see what position they controls were in at a glance; I’m not one for form over function. Final note, when I went to take them off, they were very difficult to remove. A tight fit is typically a good thing however, as I mentioned previously, they are recessed in the dash a bit more than ideal, in my opinion, so they are difficult to get a solid grip on, enough to pull them off. I have pretty good grip strength but really had to put some effort into it, gripping them with fingers from both hands and giving a solid pull to finally get them to come free. Ultimately it’s a matter of preference; they seem to be solid knobs with some room for improvement.
