So if you're going to get one of these you should be prepared to make use of your 8mm hex bit. If you don't own one I suggest you pick one up along with your purchase because they will not be including one. My costly surprise came after a single ride sporting THESE babies, which would be the only ride I can apply the plurality to because one of them decided it didn't vibe with the vibrations and fell off somewhere. I am going to stand by my 1★ review because I feel like if the creator is going to elect going with such a (IMO) odd/inconvenient bit size they should, given the price especially, include a cheap 8mm to avoid this type of situation. I was forced, due to extenuating circumstances, to use an 8mm bolt head to tighten them on and it seemed fine, however as previously mentioned it clearly WAS NOT. The least they could do is use a more readily available, i.e. 1/4" or T45 bit. I want to believe the chose was in an effort to make the spools less easily snatchable to thieves, but if that's the case including an 8mm as previously mentioned would be greatly appreciated.The only way I will be changing my review is if you'd be gracious enough to provide me with the chance to purchase a single replacement spool which would hopefully be offered at a discounted rate to compensate for the stress and anxiety this is causing. As of now I have one of these and one cyclegear brand spool on my 2016 Ninja 300 ABS.

They fit my bike (2010 kawasaki ninja 650), they seem like good quality and did supported my bike and myself while up in the stand so can't complain.

These have a good weight to them which should protect a decent amount. The only down side is the ridge on the base doesn't allow them to sit flush on the frame. But overall well built.

The color looked great, the spools had a good solid and sturdy weight and feel to them and installed flawlessly. However, the only issue I had was the color scratched off immediately when I used my rear stand. I feel if you have some sort of rubber or plastic on the brackets of your stand you may save yourself this issue.
