My Chamberlain garage door opener tends to wear-out its trolleys within 4 months. That is because we have an extra heavy garage door without much ceiling clearance. So the opener is always struggling against the door’s balance springs. Despite the annoyance of replacing the trolley so often, it is still less expensive than replacing the entire opener with a different type.This trolley is an exact replacement of the OEM part. There are quite a few complex bends made in the stamped sheet metal, so I suspect this part may even be made in the same factory which makes the OEM parts. The only discernible difference is the surface finishes (paint and oxide coatings) are not as good on this part. There are small rust spots and blemishes on all of the hardware, and scratches on the trolley. None of that affects the performance of the part. I will update this review after I install this part.
